Sign him asap please. I would freakin hate it if any other team swooped in and "stole" him from us... whether him playing works out or not.

I'm sure we've told him that a deal is coming once the 10th comes and we can figure out our cap situation.

He'll go out there in the first summer league game, dominate Towns, and Mitch will be waiting in the locker room with a contract.

I thought Okafor played poorly, but I only saw the first half. He must have picked things up in the second half. Still a prospect, but I was not that impressed in the very tiny half-game sample that I have seen from him. Lol.

Very unimpressive in the 1st half. Better in the second half, though. He had a stretch where he had 8 3rd quarter points.

I'll be intersted to see Okafor against Upshaw. I'm not saying I think upshaw is a better player or anything. I'm just curious what will happen when an elite offensive post game meets an elite defensive one. Upshaw has the perfect situation right now. Play behind Hibbert for one season. Get his life together while playing well enough to make Hibbert expendable. Then he slides in next to Randle, Clarkson and Russell. He has his future laid out in front of him. He really couldn't have asked for a better situation.

If Hibbert can get back to where he was just a couple years ago when he was an all star selection (actually and reportedly his defense didn't fall off much, if at all, following his disappearance in the playoffs in 2014) Why would we not want to keep him around too if he wants to be here. To me having 2 defensive studs would be awesome. With the risen cap he could be considered one of the FA pickups for likely not max deal.

Yeah for me if Hibbert gets back to All-Star form or close to it, you lock him up to a long-term deal. No more shuffling players. I'm not going with the super young movement just for fun...

I'd have a rotation of Hibbert/Upshaw down low and make Tarik expendable, as much as I like Tarik.
