Showed up to see the new coach while wearing team gear

I think we know his preference this summer.

Yeah, those were positive signs. I'm sensing DLo walks more and more

i'd like to have him back. i know he didn't look great offensively in that brief stretch, but i think it was a blip and he can be better there. his defense was much better than i expected, too.

I'd like to have him back. A more defined role for him and the rest of the team would probably do wonders.

He didn’t look great offensively because he had to play under the worst Laker Coach of all time. Most players aren’t LeBron- they need an actual system, and a defined role given to them by their coaching staff.

Ham broke Spence. He was playing real well: very good on defense, passable on offense until Ham had to get Vincent into the rotation.
I think it hurt both players significantly.

What I like about Spence is he bought in defensively. Did all the small stuff. AND can scale up offensively when given the role.

If DLO walks and we don't get Murray, handing the keys to Spencer is our best play.

Gotta bring this man back. I loved what he brought last year - he got messed up when we brought Vincent back into the rotation though. So my preference is to dump Vincent this summer so the roles aren't confused

if dlo just walks into air, gabe and spencer are the pgs, and i think there's minutes/role enough for those two.

I’d ideally like to keep Dlo, trade Gabe and keep Spencer as the backup Pg.

keep dlo, trade gabe for a gabe-level center (backup/fringe starter, 20mpg). this would be my preference.

i'd give dlo a long term deal at over the mle if he'd promise to roll with the punches regarding his role.

I think I’d be ok with that since we might have just replaced a lot of Dlo’s 3pt shooting with Knecht.

Spence and Gabe aren’t a bad fall back plan at the pg if worst comes to worst.

yeah, to me it would depend on how the mle is used. if dlo walks and we don't hit a home run with the mle (which is tough), it's a pretty substantial loss. not just of talent but the salary slot. we've dumped a few of those, and it's made it harder to trade because we don't have expendable salary (all our players who make money we sorta need).

We basically aren’t going to be able to trade for an impact player if DLo walks since we aren’t trading Austin.
Oh well, AD and LeBron can pout all they want because we had a deep team that they blew up.

Pelinka was trading Kuz and Trez anyway. That team wasn't deep at all.

If lose TWO targeted players to Dallas this summer, some in here will lose their sh*t.

I mean if Rob doesn't start clearing some spots soon Dinwiddie and whoever else is just going to move on.
