    The mind games are real.
It’s so much unnecessary “fun,” right?

Part of me is ready to move on from the Lebron experience, but I'm not eager to move back to the 2013 - 2018 era either.

    And here we are.

I understand the Lakers plan of trying to add that third star to overlap LeBron’s final seasons, but it’s just not possible because they aren’t operating with Ballmer money.
It’s going to be a rough transition for sure, but I would rather rip the band aide off now since we aren’t close to contending, again.

I feel like Lebron and Klutch HAVE been pretty clear about this for a while?

Could have sworn earlier in the year Lebron was already backtracking from wanting to play with Bronny, citing how even if that’s what Lebron wants he doesn’t want to force that on his son. Pretty sure Rich Paul and Klutch have been saying similar things through Bronny’s draft process for a while now

Sure maybe they should have always spoken as definitively as Rich Paul just did… but the thing is, I don’t think that would really accomplish much? Like even after this latest statement, I think a lot of people just won’t believe Paul and there will continue to be buzz about “well maybe it team X drafts Bronny they can entice Lebron”

yeah, i think there was a lot of double-talk and leaving doors open until this current statement. i think they were worried nobody would draft bronny (maybe even the lakers? though i doubt that), and now that they're sure he'll be drafted, they fully released the pressure valves. and they've had to pivot into warding teams off who were encouraged by no definitive statement about it not luring lebron.

btw, notice how he was very careful to say lebron could sign elsewhere. what did he mean by that? he's considering philly? because it sure as hell can't be anywhere else.

i think it would be dumb for him to go to philly, but i see why he'd consider it.

did he really say "he would force them to take him at 17?" like it was within his power?

If so, Wow. If it was true, it would be pretty stupid to say it out loud. The days of your cash cow being a player are coming to an end. I guess we'll see how long he lasts after that.

IDK..Playing possum I guess. He allegedly was texting Hurley like crazy, telling him how excited he was about the potential hire.

Damn, I wonder if he just took a bit less if that would help what we’d have to offer a higher tier free agent. But, whatever I guess, not my money, I guess I just wonder do you want to win a title or be the highest paid

it will never end. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd get to root for Lebron for 9 years.

And then you'll likely get the chance to root for the next generation with Bronny and Bron will be courtside watching that after he retires, until he buys his team and then that'll create a conflict of interest.

Are you able to contain your excitement?
