All the mid salaries and young prospects we have

+ 3 unprotected firsts + 3 swaps. Come on over!

(No, that's not a real offer. Rob would gets his number blocked)

Haha I doubt they’d take AD+LeBron plus all our firsts for Luka, were such a crazy thing possible.

That pic of Doncic is too skinny. Unrealistic.

I found this rather Hilarious from Klay!
He’s taking the high road when it comes to responding to fools on X.

one of edey, ware, and missi will be there at 17, imo. all are risky picks, and none is ready to be a starter quality nba player. if that's what we want, it will require a trade.

i do think that drafting a project center at 17 is probably more palatable than another guard, though.

I'm not arguing because I didn't watch him play until the Final Four, but what about Edey is not ready for the NBA? Personally, I would pick him at 17 if he is there and turn over the 5 spot to Edey + Castleton for 40 minutes a game. Then let AD take over the 5 in crunchtime.

Yes center that can play is nice but we actually have one . Castle should be playing not only when is blowout and more than 2-3 minutes a game

Edey is supposed to be a bit slow. He seems to have everything else though

Edey is slow and lacks foot speed and the modern NBA doesn't run Centers like him. Edey could either be like Boban or Yao Ming...

Based on recent preference for bigs (Jaxson Hayes...), the FO would likely take Missi to try get that Clint Capella/Kevon Looney type of big.

if you're looking for a looney type (who's very different from a capela type, imo--missi is that, almost exactly, though), that bona guy from ucla is an interesting prospect. don't think he's got the hoop iq of looney, though. daron holmes might be a looney starter kit. though tbh, i think looney has only been a valuable nba player due to his great fit on that roster. not sure how great he'd look just anywhere. again, do love high iq players, though.

weird as it sounds, i've warmed to filipowski from duke. the first few times i watched him i was like "hard pass", but i watched a bit more, and the stuff he can't do is stuff no nba team wants him to do anyway, and the stuff he can do is exactly what teams want from bigs. he doesn't have the post game olynyk had coming out of school, nor does have a three yet, but olynyk developed one, and it made all the difference.

Looney on a vet minimum? Why should he settle for that?

yeah, i love him; not sure about the fit with AD and lebron on offense. think he'd help us on defense.

edit: he's not going for a vet min, but i don't see anyone going full mle for him. he's a tpmle/bae guy, imo.

Brook Lopez well past his prime was 1st team all defense in 2023. People thought he was too slow too.
