Looks interesting. Too bad Numbnuts will never use him when his crutch Prince is available instead …. matchups be damned. Rob has given him every thing possible this year including an actual real life Big man that could have eaten some minutes “against size”, off the bench, by half way through the season at least …. in Castleton.
Listened to Buha's Q&A when this news broke, so he was processing it, speculating in real time and this is before he's been able to reach out to any sources for more info. BUT he speculated this could mean CW's injury is worse than we thought. His reevaluation should be middle of next week, but this could suggest that he might be out longer.
JSM: thanks for finding the 90 sec clips of Harry's passing ability. Of course they are the "best-of" hand-picked but still: wow. I didn't have anything in my mental file on his game. A big who can pass. I, like everyone else here, wonders about 1.) how he is on glass; 2.) scoring 3.) how/if Darvin will use him.
i was pulling for him when i saw he made the nets. he's had some serious injury issues but was a bluechip prospect at one point. this is the scouting report from when he was drafted. sort of sounds a little kwame brown-ish? saw a bobby portis comparison. when he was younger the projections were more like chris webber, but he never got close to that.
Colin doesn't get injured very often but when he does, it's the worst timing for him. What are the thoughts on Harry vs Colin when Colin returns from his injury? I think Castleton was looking great in limited minutes. I am a Castleton homer though.
How cool, AGAIN, the Lakers putting up giant photos on premises at the practice facility for their new players even on 2-Ways. I wonder how many other teams do that. At least he’ll have that since (probably) Ham will never play him.
That's Jason Tatum's boy...might be working undercover for us. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bo...30/harry-giles-nba-cba-harry-giles-iii/?amp=1
