    Well, I always liked Tony, but he is another guy who never won a ring that settled on mediocrity. Sometimes I can kind of understand their decision. Back in those days, we were a very small market team and had no way to compete with the very best on a regular basis. He was a local boy who starred for the team and practically owned this city for a decade or more. No player can do that in LA, there is too much competition. In LA there is no point of playing for a lousy team because you are not going to own that city and be super marketable. Everyone knows how good Trout is but nobody cares. You either play for a winner or you are a nobody.

    The Autry family sold a 25% ownership stake in 1996 and sold the rest to Disney in 1998.

    So by the world series win Disney owned the team outright.

    The Leprechauns are loaded, The Mavs have to come to play. I still think/hope.. that they can steal, one of these first two games in Boston.
