THIS is what he freaked out and threw a ball at fans repeatedly over!? Good lord talk about being thin-skinned and a terrible loser, I expected maybe he was gonna say they were being racist, but this!?

Brunson and Mitchell together on the Knicks really would be fascinating. Shades of the Bad Boy Pistons.

Mitchell is my only target if we’re going for a 3rd star this summer. Every time Cleveland doesn’t give him help it aids our cause in recruiting him

There's good pieces there around Mitchell. Yeah he played great today, but it's evident that he's not that #1 superstar that the media hyped him up to be.

He's more like Jamal Murray or less efficient Kyrie.

Would be great to get him obviously, but realistically, the Cavs would want something that matches their player's timelines. I predict that one of Mitchell or Garland will go this offseason.

Well, the Knicks just proved that they don’t really need Randle to win, so they should go for Mitchell.

knicks should go for Markanan for scoring balance.Mitchell and Brunson both are ball dominant someone’s game will suffer imo

We should go for Lauri..Danny Ainge doesn't really have all this leverage. The kid is on his 3rd team, he might not like it in Salt Lake city, he's going to get paid wherever he goes, and being on an expiring contract, gives him the power of chosing where he wants to go.

Agreed. I wonder what that trade would look like. Ainge is going to for sure want Reaves. I bet the trade would be something like Reaves, Hachimura, JHS, #17, 2028 1st, and 2030 1st for Markenan, Sexton, and #32. Lakers could draft Bronny with #32. Also could resign Max.

Reaves/Rui would be like a modern day poor mans Stockton/Malone.

Rui can't board like that, if he did, we'd still be playing.

On the technical side of a proposed trade, Lauri only makes 18M, I keep seeing all these trade scenarios, with us sending out 30-3M, I would be interested into what else Utah would be sending us back with him. They don't have much on their roster under contract. So I guess it's being assumed, that the Jazz is just going to absorb that extra money into their cap? He doesn't have to sign an extension there first.

D'Angelo sign and trade works for me. They aren’t worried about being hard capped, and they could move Russell for something else.

Mitchell avg 27/5/5 in 49 career playoff games. With 57,51,50, 45 and 44 pt outings. He's the anti D'Angelo. He's only 27. He'd be an outstanding 3rd option here. for sure.

mitchell is CAA, wanted to go to the knicks before, and the knicks have more trade assets than we do. he's also apparently buds with adebayo and has miami on the list. he's not coming here.
