Really strong first half offensively. Hit some really tough 3s. Also, his technical was b******* and that should've been a 4 point play.
"HE'S GOING TO BE HUGE IN THE PLAYOFFS" I wish the rest of us had Lakers Lead's confidence we'll even be in them at this point.
Needed him to play more yesterday esp over Gabe and DLO. he made mistakes in the 3rd but overall I thought he played well
Man Spence provides such a nice combination of defense, good size and athleticism, and ball handling Really makes it hard for teams to headhunt any weaknesses on either offense and defense.
I really want us to shorten this rotation...get rid of Gabe for now because Dinwiddie can actually bring everything he does and more. Only way Gabe shoudl play is if DLO/Reaves are struggling offensively and getting killed defensively.
Loved seeing him subbed in for key possessions on McCollum. Not what I expected when we picked him up, in a good way!
As a general rule during the playoffs, I don’t want to see Cam on the floor with Spencer available. Spencer can defend in a similar aggressive manner but contribute something offensively, which Cam can not. In fact i’d even play Gabe for the hope he can get his offense back rather than give Cam any run.
Those season plus / minus numbers are and are not surprising. Especially Reaves and even much worse Prince. Props to DLO, Rui and Spencer!!!
I'd like to see him get the start over DLO game 4. Give us a chance to get some tape on him in that role in a playoff setting to see how viable it would be to have him slide into DLO's spot if/ when DLO walks.
that's a positive sign, as he didn't have to say that. i think he's got a lot more than he was able to show in the playoffs. if we can keep him using just exceptions, we should look hard at it. i'm certain at least one of dlo/gabe is going to be gone, so we will need another guard in any case.
I'm keeping Dinwiddie and Gabe, and trying to do a sign and trade with DLO for something back that we need. Our number 1 offensive lineup had Dinwiddie in it strangely enough. Better than our normal starting 5. I'd like a longer look at that, and I credit at least part of that to having a legitimate penetration threat. That's not DLO, and it's an element missing in our game.
