Russell/Williams Clarkson/J. Brown Kobe/Nance/A. Brown Bass/Randle Hibbert/Black/Upshaw/Sacre That's an interesting team. If we added Gibson, too, our defense is looking noice.
Maybe this tweet was from some story he heard a few days ago... when we struck out on Aldridge? But the part about him leaving is laughable.
why would any of us ever believe this. Even if Wojo reported this I wouldn't believe it. Kobe has made his his #1 priority to finish his career as a Laker. #EndofStory
Dont think we need a pg now that we have 3 guys that can handle that in russ/jc and lou will We need to focus on a sf not named wes johnson
OK so we'd have: Russell - Williams Clarkson - J.Brown Kobe - Young - A.Brown Randle - Bass - Nance - Kelly Hibbert - Black - Sacre That's 14 players under contract. I'd include Kelly in that Pacers trade and possibly move Young for another wing via s&t action with Lin/Hill. That'll make it 13 + Upshaw and I'd be stoked going into training camp.
IDK. I can hear Kobe saying that. He's always been laser focused on 6 rings. He's almost left the Lakers before hasn't he? He will have a choice next offseason regardless. Money will be everywhere and if he does want to leave I'm sure he could find a team in contention who'd take him. I'd say the risk his higher if he comes back with a 70 game season and plays efficiently. I wouldn't think the risk is that high even at that however.
This idea would be incredibly stupid to me. It's not like he's Steve Nash would could never suit up. If there aren't any big time moves coming, no way I'd do this.
Prob the stretch provision when you waive a player and their salary has an impact on how that salary goes against our cap
OK thanks. In that case I agree with Doc. We're thin at the wing position already. It makes no sense to waive him, unless we're getting another wing back.
It would be to waive him without having someone in his place The thing im trying to understand is how theres no market for him
