Yes you’re right they would have had a play because even if they did take more time off the clock Denver still would have had 5-6 seconds left which as we know is an eternity in BB.So yes he took the right shot.

Apart from D-LO’s improved play in game two, we’re not getting squat from our role players - whereas DEN has gotten balanced scoring from all five of their starters in both games.

You know I wouldn't be surprised if Mikey's strategy is a version of the rope a dope. to let us cook in the first half or even the first 36-38 minutes, letting us expend our energy especially in the mile high building. Then as our guys are holding on the their knees, trying to find their wind or asking to be subbed out to catch a breather like Bron, that's when he tells his guys to flip that switch. Knowing they can out execute us in their sleep. The chemistry and attention to detail shown by all 5 on the court is frustratingly impressive... especially when you look on the other side and see Ham Sandwich.

 

Through 3 quarters Murray had 6 points on 3-16 shooting. In the 4Q he goes for 14 on 6-8 with the game winner. That team is a well oiled machine down the stretch... every damn game.
