I actually like Prince as a 15-18 minute a night guy, not being forced to be the POA defender, but ya know, told to play his actual position. It’s not his fault that Ham inexplicably decided TP was Scottie Pippen reincarnated.
Ugly game for him. Missing layups and dunks. He missed a dunk and hung on the rim causing AD to miss a layup.. Please no more of him on Jokic as well.
THe wide open 3 miss in the final 2 minutes was brutal. MPJ hits one on a freak loose ball to tie the game and Rui misses one that came off a good drive by AR. Story of the Denver/LAL matchup pretty much.
I'm underwhelmed by Rui's performances thus far. He's not getting it done. Dlo showed up. AR is at least playing good D. Your turn to do something Rui.
Awful tonight. Gave him a pass for game one because he was battling Joker. Missed easy ones tonight. Ham's decision with him doesn't make sense either. He sits him as punishment in game one for the best player in the league being the best player in the league against him. But in this game where he didn't have it and wasn't guarding Joker every play, Ham stuck with him.
Damn I wish he made that pass. Dlo for a corner three? Even AD is pointing that out. That's something Denver executes. Getting it to their best players in a good position.
Let's see how he does at home: these are shots he normally puts down. Rui going up a level at home and MPJ going down on a notch on the road is something I could see happening.
He's been awful and I'm a huge Rui guy. He needs to play DECENT for us to win...he's been horrible both games. I expect that he'll play better at home, but apparently Vando/Wood could be back for Game 3, so I expect Ham will have a shorter leash on him so he's going to feel some pressure to actually play well hopefully.
