Wouldn’t be mad if we lose by 40 each of the next 2 games. Jeanie would be forced to fire Ham at that point, right? Right?…Right?!

LeBron took a bad shot and the Nuggets capitalized.

    It’s almost over.

Ham and an inept referee crew cost us in game 2. Both parties should be ashamed of themselves.

at this point we're not getting back from 0 - 2 down, so the best that can happen is whatever makes sure Ham is toast.

This team is done, like as far as competing we are done, it’s over. If the FO was smart they’d fire Ham, and they’d start the rebuild, get everything they can get for AD in the best season he’s had in a long time, let LeBron pick where he wants to go and get some assets for him, start over fresh. To drag this out would be foolish, especially with a lot of our future picks spoken for, need to get back as many as we can. That Murray shot ended us, it happens, Horry did the same thing to the Blazers, Kobe did the same thing to many teams.

I can't blame him for taking that shot, it's a wide open 3 and he hit 2 3's to stretch out the lead earlier this half.

It's so frustrating to almost watch two different teams each half. Looked amazing and then what was that in the 2nd?

Agreed. Time to blow it up.

And this isn’t a shot at AD. I do think he has what it takes to be a franchise cornerstone… we just don’t have the assets to put a championship team around him in his remaining window

If we try to “run it back”, I think we’re dooming ourselves to be a middle of the pack team with contention out of reach for the next ~5 years at least

Way too much time left. It was a bad shot and decision. Very bad it turned out as it cost us the game.

Every game.. The Lakers look great against DEN for 2.5 -3 qtrs.
Then, at some point, Lakers make 2-3 lazy, unforced errors in a row & DEN goes on a run. Then DEN just ramps up their energy & the game is over..
Every game is the same script.
This wasn't about Refs or LeBron's missed 3.. DEN executes & makes all the big shots & all the effort plays down the stretch every time we play them... 10 times in a row now.

Yeah there was a lot of time left on the clock.... I mean Ham could've called a TO but has he ever given us a good look or play from a TO?

    Tear it down.
LeBron and AD aren’t winning together again.
Don’t trade AD- just build a competitive team around him.
    Trade LeBron.
Rob TOTALLY screwed our chances against Denver by not getting a big body to slow the Joker.
He said it himself- he had a very tough time when we had multiple bigs to throw at him.
    F’ing pissed right now.

I don't think we have the assets or time to build another contending team around AD

AD is 31 and probably at his competitive peak this season, we could trade him right now for a bucketload of assets. If we keep him and he goes back to being injured all the time, that window is gone.

we'd be making the mistake Portland made with Dame for example.

This was our best punch against him.

    Wrap city.

I don’t care- we aren’t going to be good for another 8-10 years either way. AD deserves to be here, especially after this season.
If he wants out, then fine, trade him.

I’m not necessarily against blowing it up but I don’t have confidence in our ability to build a team. Just hard to have faith in a group that hasn’t been able to really build around AD and LeBron.

He deserves the MVP. AD, the best defender in the game, BY FAR, can’t come close to stopping him.
