Need to hit open 3s. Lakers left slot on the table tonight despite getting blown out. They missed a few wide open 3s and bunnies that would have flipped the pressure on the Kings and Dinwiddie had the easiest look from 3
I saw a couple snippets from this but didn't do the digging to find all of it until now. Really good back and forth with Spencer on his role and his fit from Monday. Woike put it in his newsletter today.
good, honest comments. also more reason that i think we won't be able to keep him. i suppose if we did move dlo for a non-pg, spencer might sense an opportunity as a starter here, even at lower money to start.
Dinwiddie does a very good job on some elite guards like Maxey and Lillard but not so well vs the smaller quick twitch dudes. Didn't do much against Fox and Monk but He does intrigue me against certain matchup like Denver and Phoenix
Thought it was no coincidence that his best offensive outing was on the night he was on ball more and was the lead guard more often even in lineups with DLO and Austin. Was really impressed when he was on Harris, held up the that size really well.
This is what I expected more of at the time of the signing. Great to see he can dip into that bag when we really need him to tonight, while still compete defensively. First game we've been without DLO where it didn't go to complete s***.
Yeah, benefits of having a point guard. With Gabe out for the entire year, in previous game Dlo missed we had just Lebron and Reaves who can dribble. Great to have Spencer now.
Fantastic and necessary showing from Dinwiddie who just balled out tonight! 26 points and 2 blocks as well. Way to step into that starting spot with Dlo out.
Hell of a wrinkle to be able to unlock whenever you want/ the team needs you to. Again, what exactly is Gabe bringing to the squad this season when he returns? Other than tempting Ham to go with 4 guards at a time.
He's our only player with offensive skills from the PG to the PF position included who put a good effort on the other end
It was nice to see someone not named Lebron James get to the paint at will. Dude is deceptively strong.
Who can ratchet up to a 20 ppg high usage player or down to an 8-10 ppg corner shooter while staying engaged defensively regardless. There's not a lot of those and I can't think of the last one who played on purple and gold.
