I loved the Walton games because you never knew what was going to come out of his mouth next. He and Tom Tolbert were fun.

I remember one game where Walton compared Boris Diaw to Beethoven.

Walton and “Snapper” Jones would always get under each other’s skin and provide great comedy as well.

Going shopping this summer in the 250 lbs and up department HAS to be one of the top priorities.

He's a power forward not a center. At some point, Rob is going to have to get him some help. Rob has been obsessed with getting more guards and wings, in order to help Lebron. Ironically now a 39 year old Lebron, is still the only other reliable rebounder on the team.

I never understood, the whole AD at 5 movement, after the bubble in the 1st place.

Like we didn't bring in Marc Gasol the very next season who was bigger than Dwight or Javale .... plus Harrell, and we were doing great for the short time until AD and Bron started their injuries and Marc picked one up, so they brought in Drummond? The next year with Westbrook we brought Dwight back plus DeAndre Jordan .... too bad they were washed by then. Who was available this year in that size range that was any good, since we had to spend money to replace Schroder, and Biyombo held out for close to a mini mid level. And Vogel was the coach who would have actually USED a Big Man next to AD to start both halves and when beef was needed.

Vogel got cussed out and fired, for not using Dwight and Jordan too. Partly at least.

Gasol was washed man, and Montrez is a 6'7 PF, that couldn't jump or play any defense.

We could have made a trade for a big too, bigs have been traded all over the league for 3 seasons straight. No..we've targeted guards, we drafted guards. That's evidently Rob's vision of what's best for the team.

He just pays lipservice, to getting AD some help. He signed two PF at the minimum, and spent both MLE on a guard and a wing. Meanwhile Anthony Davis has been complaining about being played out of position as a 5 for too long. Starting with the season after the bubble.

Gasol was playing fine and helping orchestrate the offense with his terrific passing like he always has until he got hurt. You're just a hater on that and wrong.

Gasol was trash dude, he didn't orchestrate anything. He played like he was entitled to start and be mediocre. He threw a hissy fit when they brought in Drummond. You forget that his effort level was being questioned before they signed Drummond too. He perked up and tried a little more after that, tried at least, that dude was done. One thing lost in the Caruso thing, was when Minnesota made their offer for Alex, our response was, trying to dump Gasol in a sign and trade to Minnesota.

The only success that team had came before AD got injured, it wasn't Marc Gasol.

And Drummond and Westbrook and Ham were the bomb .... in comparison to Marc "before" the injury that necessitated Drummond (and where did I say HE was solely responsible, when it's always AD and LeBron) .... and Russ replacing KCP, Caruso and Kuzma wasn't a problem since they were "role players" to the Big 2 and only didn't work because of the AD and LeBron injuries ..... and Vogel sucked and the proof would be him likely not getting another head coaching gig, let alone a plum one. Yeah you do your genius takes. LOL.

Westbrook wasn't here, when we had Gasol. What does he have to do with anything I said about Marc? Gasol's injury didn't necessitate Drummond's signing, it was his mediocre effort and play.

Westbrook was 22-22 with Lebron and AD too. It wasn't his fault they were injured. Westbrook didn't replace Caruso either, Tucker did.

Meh...What genius take, have you ever made period? All your takes come with 25 qualifier statements of, IF this and this, or that and this, it might be this. Vogel shouldn't have gotten another plum job, Phoenix made a mistake imo. At least they hedged their bets by dictating his staff to him...again.

Whoopee doo..your insights are always, extremely on point right?

My observations on most of these major issues of contention have been more accurate than your typically against the grain takes so there’s that. IMO definitely.
