Yes. Kobe would realize that GS has gone 8-2 in their last 10 and are looking to overtake us in the standings. We can’t afford to lose to GS with how easy this team has been known to drop other games against weaker opponents.

I don’t get it- the ankle is just going to magically be better for tomorrow’s game?

No that’s just his excuse so he doesn’t have to play any defense and will chuck long 3’s all night.

has the ankle been the reason why he's been listed questionable most games this season? or was that some other injury?

He's no Kobe on the pain tolerance front, that's for sure.

However, maybe if Kobe was a little less fanatical, he'd have played til 40 because his body wouldn't have broken down so much.

I guess pick your poison. If he's trying to save it til it matters most, I get it. But as fans, we want the best of both.

Not most …. he’s been relatively healthy but he rolled it it pretty good and kept on playing like 10 - 12 games ago give or take?

I love LeBron but he got this one wrong

You're sitting out an important game against a team that is DIRECTLY behind us in the standings and we may need to win a tiebreaker against them if we end up tied at the end of the seaason so that we ensure the play-in game is in LA and not GS...and he sits that one out? After having 10 days off? And then he's going to play in the home game against the Spurs, a team that we SHOULD beat without LeBron?

Very annoyed...and even if LeBron is still upset about Lakers not trading anybody...this is not how I imagined starting the post ASG run after we were HOT going into the all star break...

Well, to be fair Kobe Bryant didn't make it playing to Lebron's age. That's uncharted territory.

I understand missing games, but yeah I would obviously prefer him to miss SA's game. Unless the team feels they were most likely gonna lose at GS either way and wanted to assure going 1-1 instead of risk going 0-2. I'm confident SA could be beaten without him so that's weird.

SA beat us already when we rested a player (AD), right? i'm actually ok with him sitting against gs if he had to sit one.

Yeah and we almost blew the game that AD did play the game before against them.. The team is much more helpless without AD though.

Without Bron the hope is Rui, Dlo, Reaves and Spencer can absorb his offense load and they can do that at times. But either way, I'm not outraged, cause I believe we'll go 1-1 either way which is what the team pretty much always does at best on a back to back.

    Yeah, I don’t like it.
Pop is in the same category of Laker Haters as George Karl. I understand he’s a great coach and all, but I don’t like it one bit.
LeBron did have a good game, though.

    That's a hell of a feat

    He'll catch Fish next season

Picked his spots, seemed like a pretty easy 30 for him. He was killing it in the two man game with AD (think they ran it 3 consecutive plays in the 2nd Q).

To crack 40k, he'll likely need 4 games and I think he'll miss part of the LAC/Wiz back to back, so that would put him breaking it on 3/4 at home vs OKC.
