I keep thinking that, at some point, LeBron will realize he might be doing a disservice to his kid by pulling him into the league with these threats if he's not ready. Watching him at USC this year, he's not ready. I totally understand that it's LeBron's dream to play with Bronny. Is that Bronny's dream?

Likely using the threat to potentially get us to make some kind of deal.

    Yeah. I can see it.

He has his flaws but I honestly think last years team would have won the whole thing with him.

I’ve heard LeBron say it was his dream to play with his son but I’ve also heard him say he didn’t know if it was his son’s dream. What ever his son decides is what’s going to happen however that plays out

Man I thought Dyson Daniels looked really good: feel bad for him. NO has so much depth but that hurts them for sure IMO

Yeah. I remember that as well.

I honestly think it’s all posturing right now. I don’t expect LeBron to leave or another team to draft Bronny.

for a guy who doesn't like vando, you've chosen an interesting champion here? cuz he's got nothing on offense.

I like Vando: My problem with him is that he became unplayable against playoff-level defenses. Sort of the anti-Dlo - who playoff level offenses just picked on last year.
Both are very good regular season players but I just don't know what will happen to them in the playoffs vs experienced coach or a ridiculously good core 5 like Denver has. Vando showed flashes of offensive improvement - just needs to improve marginally at shooting and finishing

Daniels is only 20 years old and he's a big wing - got room to improve.

    right, like jhs?

cuz daniels is unplayable if vando is. and he's smaller. you're banking on improvement that didn't happen from year 1 to year 2, but our guy can't even be allowed to be bad for a year.

Sure I've been pretty consistent that the best hope for him is his size and age (frankly the key to any future NBA roleplayer seems to be whether they can get into the high 30% on spot up 3, preferably 40 to get a big contract). Problem I see with JHS he just isn't a superb athlete by NBA standards - Daniels is an excellent athlete.

I kinda agree. I'm not big on Trae overall but it's not like he's a scrub. There's a lot of hate for him lately which has caused him to become super underrated. Not a huge fan of gutting ourselves of future assets for him, but it looks like a real possibility that we'll inquire.

His numbers are pretty impressive though.... Gotta give him some props.

hornets future has looked a lot brighter since MJ sold the team. kupchak's tenure there wasn't great, but he did draft some good young talent for them to build around. hayward contract and drafting james bouknight over sengun and jalen johnson in '21 are the biggest stains on his record there. still, he did a whole lot better than his predecessor rich cho, although i'm not sure how much of cho's downfall was due to MJ being cheap and meddling in personnel/draft decisions

surprised mitch lasted this long in today's league honestly

I get it man. Just saying I think the Trae slander has gone a little too far (at least on places like Twitter, etc). There are a lot of players who forego playing a lick of defense and don't get railed on like he does.
