I think we have a good shot if Ham can get his act together. I like all the players a lot.

It certainly will help DLo and Rui. Maybe if “The Corpse Formerly Known as Gabe” comes back to life, it will help him as well.
I’m not too bummed about not getting Murray because of DLO’s excellent play recently.

let's see how we do tonight against Denver. Big game for motivation if AD and Bron play and we win, we might get a boost like the C Bags game. If we get blown out, back to square one.

i'm not going to get fooled by regular season dlo that playoff dlo is a thing of the past. but regular season dlo is really good, and...you need to win regular season games. if we get dinwiddie and/or gabe rejoins the living, that's some insurance.

still bummed we don't get the vando starting five back (yes, yes, regular season doesn't matter...), but i'm glad that we're done with trade rumors in which all of our players are shat upon while dorian finney smith and bruce brown are getting bronze busts commissioned.

For me, it’s also about our shooting accuracy. If we can have a couple of games in a series where the team can shoot a good clip from behind the arc, we will be very hard to beat.

Actually, Kendall was a really good passer, it’s the rest of the attributes that were lacking.

If we want to make another run at Murray this summer, I'm interested.

    Trae?

I cannot stress enough how against that move I am... and I feel as though I'll have to stress it a lot before July rolls around.

Dinwiddie made a strong playoff run with the Mavs a couple of seasons ago, I wouldn't count them out at all.

How many roster spots do we have open for buyouts?

Just one. That's one reason I was hoping for a roster consolidating fringe move. Wanted two slots going into buyout season unless we were able to address multiple needs in a deal and that seemed unlikely just based on the kind of convos we were having

The Bucks look terrible right now. The Doc Rivers era is off to a rough start.

Really glad we dodged that bullet. Doc isn’t the answer for any team and the Bucks deserve what they are getting.

It'd have to be one of the centers, contract wise that's the only ones that make even remote sense. They each have POs this summer, but it's for the min. They're not giving up money if they decline that because their next deal will be for that at least. One of them would have to see a bigger role somewhere and want to jump.

But for a team as cheap as the Lakers I have a hard time seeing them eating that agreed upon amount + taxes and then go out and sign another player and take those tax hits too. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

Does Lowry have anything left in the tank to contribute to a playoff run? I kind of like the idea of Lowry off the bench as a role player, he’s a decent defender and can hit open 3s. Championship vet experience as well.

I would also look to try to get Joe Harris as well. Give us that shooter that can get hot and hit 5 3s a game.

Adding Irwin's latest on that very question

So... maybe (that's better than I thought)

I get twitchy when thinking about Heat guards. Every indication is Philly is the front runner there, letting him return home. He also played for Nurse for 3 years in Toronto.

it's no secret that pelinka isn't very well liked by other GMs. he no doubt burned some bridges during his days as an agent and that's coming back to bite him in the a** now

i wouldn't doubt that certain GMs and teams don't want to "help" out the lakers, (indy and the spurs come to mind) but i think pelinka is more the issue than anything else

How soon can Dinwiddie get suited, booted, and inked? Cause we're awaiting a blowout tomorrow night. Need some bodies.
