Spencer, Morris and House would be a damn good trip to the market. But we don't have the roster spots.

I might be more excited for this buyout list than the potential at the trade deadline.

Without giving up players, more money to offer than other teams, and such low completion from other franchises feels like we’re in a good place to get an couple impact players.

This inaction may have lost Lebron this summer. Another summer of us being totally stuck until soutbeach decides. Will hold the whole league hostage. Sigh.

If we get Dinwiddie without having to give up anything...that's a nice pickup.

He has had a down year though...however it wasn't too long ago that he was flame throwing in Dallas and killing it for them

I don't see why he would wanna go back to Dallas after they traded him?

Isn't he from LA too? Perfect scenario for him I think to come home and play with this squad, and if DLO does happen to disappear, I think Dinwiddie can step up in that moment. I also like that Dinwiddie is 6'5...big guard.

we know his offense has slipped but how has his defense been this year? anybody know?

Don’t think it’s been mentioned yet, but DLo and Spencer played together in Brooklyn the year DLo was traded there and they made the playoffs. They were a nice tandem in the backcourt and filling in the gaps each other’s game.

I think it’s more of a “Lakers hate” than it is disdain towards Rob.

He’s not going anywhere. His kids are in school in L.A. and his brand doesn’t have a better fit other than maybe the NY Knicks who just turned themselves into the strongest team out East(when healthy). They aren’t going to break up that team for at least a few seasons.

It's a little worse. He's basically gotten worse each year on that end.
    Screenshot_20240208_181835_Chrome.jpg

We nearly all were in on getting Ty Jones who's worse defensively, smaller and would've cost assets.

Dinwiddie for nothing would be better than anything but a Murray trade imo.

Who doesn't think there was a conversation with LeBron and AD where the reality of the situation about getting Murray came down to Atlanta's stance of the high price PLUS losing AR .... and who do you guys value more in this decision? The both love AR. I assume they pick AR if that conversation happened.

From the podcast they just did I don’t know that AD wanted to get rid of DLO much less him and Reaves.

ok, so...NOW can we try to capitalize on continuity?

IF dinwiddie comes, and we get reddish and vando back, we have the horses to compete. will we do it? does not being traded help clear up some of the psychological stuff that's clearly been an issue for the first 50 games?

Dinwiddie would be the right move for us. Really good off the bench. Vet player, steady, good size. His outside shooting had its ups and downs, but ultimately he's still a 13/6 player and a contributor. In his best season he had something like 20/7, but that was 5-6 years ago. Still, I'd love to have him on the team, especially if it doesn't cost us anything. At least you know that he always plays hard, even if his D isn't great. He'd be happy to set people up, since he's quite a good playmaker. Let's see if this can actually happen!
