- Gafford for 2nds, are you kidding me? He's a capable starter who would be great as a defensive backup big.
- Hield for seconds is good for any team, he's on a expiring contract too.
- Bojan would have helped our team because we don't have a deadeye 3 point shooter. He's not a good defender though and we would all get frustrated. We all already dislike Prince lol.
- I'm dumbfounded by Toronto giving up a pick for Olynyk. Just sign him in the offseason and keep your pick if you want him that bad. Don't help out Utah and Danny Ainge by giving them a pick.
- Pelicans can make some noise if they add Murray to CJ/Zion/Ingram. Don't sleep on O

Darn it! I wanted Olynyk this past summer and was hoping we could get him now.

Well it's Jones or bust at this point. What a disappointing thing to see Schroder go to Brooklyn

That was a smart trade by BKN - upgraded their PG spot overnight and also, Schroder gets to start again on a potential play-in team that has a lot of exciting young players.

Toronto gets to save money now too and have enough to pay Quickley in the summer.

I know we wanted DS back, I sure as hell did, but Gabe Vincent is an underweight asset at this point, and Toronto was looking to shed money, not add money, and only way they would have taken Gabe was if we attached a 1st...which doesn't make sense.

Ironically, we could end up getting Dinwiddie if he gets bought out by Toronto...but Dinwiddie sucks, shooting 39% from field and 32% from 3...yuck. And I don't want Ham messing around with 3-guard lineups if we brought him in

Back to a whole lot of us doing nothing at the trade deadline. Kind of sucks but whatever. I always hate the years we do nothing.

NOW, I will say……does it feel like someone interesting is going to be bought out of all the trades that have happened so far? Like, maybe the Lakers really do get someone in the buyout market.

I wanted Dennis too, but we couldn’t have beat that offer based on what Toronto wanted: an expiring contract. Gabe is basically the same dead money to them.

Not surprised that’s all it took to get Dennis. So far I’m not seeing a deal we could have beat without being forced to overpay.
