Yeah. I mean LeBron wants to win but he's not dumb. I don't think he or Klutch wants a lopsided deal.

I also have heard from sources I trust a lot that he wanted us to keep Caruso. Take that for what its worth.

I don't think he wants us to just let talent go for the sake of letting it go. He does still want to win.

I don't expect Reaves to move unless we were getting a really good return.

I mean everybody wants to win. That's the common denominator. Unfortunately, we've been hit with injuries, bad coaching , etc.

I have a feeling Rob comes through with something; if it isn't Murray, he's going to make a move, IMO. Let's not forget he has to be an agent and not just any agent; he was Kobe's agent among other notable clients. If anybody can balance the relationship with Klutch and relate to Rich and LBJ, it's Rob. He use to be that guy.

I think we'll be fine. Win the game tonight, get a trade or two find that improve the team, and let's go on a run.

In the end, we'll maybe decide to do nothing at the deadline, or we'll see Rob do something no one expected.

Do not like plan B as the one stop shop. If some of these guys are blended in another deal, I'm much more in favor. I do think that if we don't punt the season, the odds of DFS shot through the roof after the Vando injury.

i'm not as "eff them picks" as lebron is, but for an all star caliber player, i think you can go there. the murray that left SA was getting to be at that level. the question is whether he's truly regressed defensively or not. if he hasn't, he's worth some future picks with limited protection.

if i'm rob, i wonder if i just throw everything at them (dlo and all the picks), knowing that jeanie will forgive you if the post-lebron era is rough for a few years.

We need our scouts to look at two things here: the defense (I think it's a Trae problem and an AD solution) and his career year offensively this year...outlier or him hitting his prime window (age wise it should be the latter).
    here's those numbers

If you think the defense will bounce back and the offense can be in that range for a few years, he's one of the 2-3 best talent for $ players in the league.

For a team as worried about money as the Lakers, you'd they'd want to maximize playoff revenue during Bron's time here cause we're going to suck after regardless of the picks.

We are not standing pat, I don't know who, we are really targeting now, but all these NBA " insiders" don't ever seem to be right about anything, when it comes to predicting trades.

gallinari? he makes 7 million and can't be packaged, right? due to the latter (he was traded three weeks ago), i don't see any sensible path here.

had to be checking to see if he was getting bought out? i don't think he solves many problems for us in any case.

    On the Nets assets
Not giving an outright first for DFS. A swap or multiple seconds, yes. If they consider JHS "a first round pick" then that's another story.

They speculate Dinwiddie + a protected 1st could be a path to Murray. I get Dinwiddie is expiring but that's a hell of a gap between that and what they're allegedly demanding from us.

    Drummond'ing up interest
    Hayes and a 2nd?

    Gallo
Not sure how you do that where it makes sense based on his age, injury risks and salary especially since he can't be combined with another player. Two separate deals that brings back Gallo and Monte Morris?

Wolves are biggest competition in getting a backup PG?
Forget which reporter said they offered 4 second rounders for Jones. I don't see us topping that. So if we don't get Murray or Brogdon, we'll be settling for who's left after they get their pick of the backup litter.

And here's the suitor list for Jones
I don't think they get a first unless it's one that will convert to seconds. I do think they can get plenty of second rounders for him and maybe a prospect (Lewis?)

brown id pass too....20M for a smallish wing with poor 3pt % isnt what we need

Someone mentioned CP3 but that could be an interesting wrinkle. if he gets moved and gets bought out and is planning to come to the Lakers. I think that opens the door to a Bruce brown/DFS like move.

It would be insane to move Dlo in that kind of move IMO with CP3's age/injury history. BUt if you move some combo of Rui/Prince/Gabe for DFS and then pickup CP3 to be the backup to DLO that would check a lot of boxes

Finney-Smith doesn't move the needle enough, to make a trade with D'Angelo for him. I'd take CP3 on a buyout, and Drummond in a small trade, but we need to land a bigger fish, for D'Angelo, Rui and Prince, or Gabe.

Just adding Paul and Drummond to this bunch isn't enough IMO.

Is he f***ing nuts or just trying to get some attention ?
Bill Simmons proposed trading LeBron James to Golden State.

I really like one option, but it won’t happen. The most interesting trade for basketball is if LeBron is traded to the Warriors and it would be [ Jonathan ] Kuminga, Klay [Thompson] and maybe some pick swap down the line. It's simple: "We'll take LeBron for three months, and then he can hit the free agent market." Clay will return to the Lakers - his father played there. And the Lakers will also receive Kuminga. <..

The Warriors might be willing to gamble on a CP3, Ben Simmons trade.
