    i really don't get why he didn't just sit against portland who they could've beaten without him

    no chance they beat the clips without lebron, especially with the clips probably playing pissed since they've lost two straight. i think i read that if the clips win this game or the next two matchups, they'll win the all time series at staples. i'm sure they'll be playing extra hard just for that

    Knowing Ham he was probably couldn't risk a Portland loss as they were also missing Prince. Can't have Lebron out with TP out as well

    Medical staff should be guiding when people sit and when they are ready to play. Minutes restrictions, rest days, etc should be determined by them.

    They did. The "captain" is just a title... It's more symbolic.

    The West starting five is so good. If this was a regular season team, I don't see how that squad would ever lose a single game.

    Criminal.

    And I don't understand why. You would think if anything Silver would give the zebras the directive to protect him at all costs because he's a one man cash cow for the league and will be until the day he retires. But it feels more like he's trying to run him out of the league...I know he's not, but it feels closer in line with that end of the spectrum.

    league has had to manage the fan hatred for the lakers for a long time. the cp3 veto was really about that more than the owners/cba, imo. they can't make it look like they favor the lakers, so they have to go out of their way to make sure they're not.
