Ham will look ridiculous to the team even more if he switches back Dlo for Reaves in the starting lineup. I don't know how much more lineup changes he can afford to make before he is strangled by the players:Laugh:

I love AR but his D freakin sucks man.
No way in hell, you can play both him and DLO together in the playoffs (i guess you can... but only till the conference finals ;) ).

AR's defense is good in passing lanes, and on-ball stuff. I wouldn't say his D "sucks."

Containing a guy who wants to get in the paint? He needs work. And he's the kind of guy who will somehow get better. But it's not easy. Also: lots of guys can shake him off the arc, step back and get a good look, 'cuz AR is trying so hard to NOT let a guy go around him. His guy gets loose for easy buckets a bit too often. Does his man go baseline on him? Yes he does. Room for improvement there.

I'm not really picking on AR's D. Lots of guys have the same problems: good O beats good D. But AR knows teams are going at 1.) him, and 2.) Max

Wouldn't you? I mean, you don't want AD on you. You don't want Vando, a healthy Cam, (Wood/Hayes?), even Rui on you. Attack D-Lo (who won't improve his D... or I just don't see it), AR, or Max. It's what you'd do.

Bron has decided man D is not his bag. I for one am not questioning his wisdom here.

He's getting targeted on D every game, other coaches see a mismatch and try to exploit it... Ham could learn a thing or two.

Nice overall game. He has really good chemistry with Bron and with his BFF DLO.

The individual defense is not good. I think he is and can be a good team defender because he's smart and understands the game really well. He knows how to play the lanes and position himself to take the hit both in the post and running into the screens.

He's going to be picked on until we hire a defensive coach... oh wait. Sorry. A better defensive coach who understands how to better play to the strengths and especially weaknesses of your personnel.

Will be tough and doubtful for AR to make this roster with all the Big names opting in who want to enjoy Paris. But still .... a nice achievement again for AR to even be selected and in the tryouts.

We needed more from him and Rui against the Clips last night. Someone other than Dlo & AD needed to show up big.

I thought he busted his a** against the Clippers and the bigger size of Kawhi and the others. It's not like he's Chucky Atkins out there. DLO made a play or two on D too. They needed the guy that gives them the BEST cover to be able to play together .... for all the good it does for all of our offense ..... who is Vanderbilt, not Prince. Rui had to start in place of LeBron. But when Bron was in the lineup and Prince out, Vando would have been the better choice than Hachimura, since Jared has gotten a lot of his defensive mojo back.

i've got reasons for saying no to this proposition, as i've outlined elsewhere, but it will be something to watch going forward. i could imagine us looking really silly for holding him out of deals or looking really smart.

We all love AR, but he can be so bad sometimes. Like, completely lost. Doing nothing on D, and just can't get his offense going at all. Re: Murray... yes, I'd trade him for that type/level of player, sure.

    I love the dude. But…

He is being targeted. Lacks athleticism in many ways. Been negative for much of this year.

His move to the elbow to shoot a jumper or draw contact is tired and exposed.

I think his shooting numbers are down because he is exerting so much on D - trying not to be exposed and targeted. Trying, but failing often.

Has many moments. But his trade value is declining. D Murray is a better player now with much more upside.

I get the decent contract, but…just a good role player. Not an “untouchable” player. That position is nuts to me.

NO. Then why doesn't Numb-effing-nuts try Mays for some burn when AR or DLO are struggling which is what was supposed to happen with Vincent???
