never should've fired budenholzer to begin with

and they even passed on nick nurse to hire griffin. that's why you don't hire rookie HCs when you have a title contending team. :cough: jeanie :cough:

Yeah he's prickly at best. Don't think the players liked him either. Players winning games despite him.

Doc... it's amazing how many chances he keeps getting in this league. I can't think of a worst hire if you have goals of winning anything in the playoffs. He's going to choke, blame the players and get fired. I just hope he gets this gig, then it'll be it's a big enough salary that they can't can him when we're back in the market for a new HC. It's been very scary listening to him drool and slobber all over the the job during his last 3 Lakers games he's called.

The lesson to learn here for the Bucks and for us: don't hire a rookie HC if you have championship aspirations.

I wan't Doc "off the board" but not at the cost of screwing up the Bucks. They have to battle C Bags and with Doc as the HC, they might as well waive the white flag...

    :LLLLLebronlaughing:

So he's been a consultant for a now terminated coach and their first instinct is to hire the one who's advice couldn't get Griff on the right track?

    What were the issues?
    Also...Didn't maximize Dame Time

Too funny man. They replaced Jrue with Dame and their D got worse? No way, who could have seen that coming.
Let's trade AD for KAT and see how that goes D wise :D

According to Google: To be a professional coach, you need experience and knowledge of your game. According to coach biographies from the NBA League , coaches typically have years of experience playing the game plus experience in assistant coaching positions.

Common Guys, Let's Go , Give ball to Giannis - and other new tactical ideas will finally appear in Milwaukee
P.S.I don't think that his Ubuntu b******* will work this time

They play Malik freakin Beasley as a wing stopper - he's worse on defense than D lo and they play him with Dame.
I was going to bet against them in the playoffs because I didn't think that had a chance in hell of working but now with the coaching change I may have to take that back

Buha on Irwin's pod today ranked his betting odds on what path we take before the deadline:

    1) Murray
    2) Small-mid deal
    3) Big deal
    4) No deal

Yeah, how does Doc Rivers keep falling upwards on jobs. He's really only good if you have a bad team and want to become above average.

I guess it was Giannis who didn't want Nick Nurse. Woops!

That’s pretty high odds on Murray from him.

i was thinking that big deal over no deal was pretty surprising.

i have zero insights, but my bets would be:

    small mid-deal
    murray
    no deal
    big deal

I would see if OKC would take Hayes for one if their plethora of 2nd round picks. They’re not exactly deep or experienced at the center position

Depressing not more talk about moving Rui instead of Dlo.
I'm one of the few I guess on here that values Dlo a lot higher than Rui, particularly with the players they currently have. Lakers have 2.5 legit guards (max is 1-2 years away IMO) with basically no flexibility with the lineups they can play.

Meanwhile, they have 4 guys who can play PF and 4 guys who can play SF.
