Dlo and Brown don't get a long but a great move would be Rui plus Gabe for Brown/Schroeder.
Dlo/Schroeder we knows works well and Brown/reaves at SG would be awesome. That is a lot of flexibility in terms of what you can bring both on offense and defense. Almost any combo of those 4 looks good.

That looks pretty good in Indy.

For Toronto, I bet Trent is the next one moved. Maybe Trent and Dennis? It's worth a phone call.

Ty Jones and Sexton (Klutch) getting mentioned.

We also have a trading relationship with both teams. That matters.

Again, Zach isn't happening. According to everyone. THANK YOU ROB!

very worried about buying high on sexton, but i've been on the tyus train since before the media got onto it.

and there's never been a sensible path to lavine here, imo. agree that it's good to hear rob hasn't been considering it at all.

Yeah, I'm not high on Sexton for what he'll cost. He can handle and create for himself, but a think he's a little selfish and question the fit.

I've been pro-Ty for going on 5 weeks now. I think I let it percolate for a week and then floated it here as a guy to watch on an under performing team who could help and shouldn't cost an arm and a leg.

Dirty a** POS. No. We dumped the last one. Don't want another.

Latest tonight from Anthony Irwin: Last week Lakers and Hawks got decently far on trade talks for Murray. Package was DLO, JHS, '29 pick (protections not yet discussed). People around the league felt like momentum was there. Then out of nowhere, Hawks balked and wanted Austin instead of DLO (speculates Hawks ownership maybe stepped in). Lakers said no and talks cooled. He thinks things ended on amicable terms and could revisit before the deadline, but that's where we're at.

Also says we've checked in on Brogdon and Rozier. Is that legit interest or posturing to get the Hawks back to the table?

A couple days ago, Irwin also said we've become less dead set on keeping the '29 pick after seeing the limited market for DLO and because they don't want to give up Austin (it's going to take one of those two assets to get a bigger name).

I would take him over Gabe, but would the Suns?

If they traded for Rozier then I would keep DLO.A rotation of Russell,Rozier and Reaves would bring a scoring punch to complement AD and Lebron.Of course there wouldn’t be a whole lot of defense being played between those 3

Sexton is talented. Have a friend who's a Utah fan who's been giving me updates. Wouldn't mind it, but Ainge is going to want a haul.

Jones is probably the guy to target if we're going after guard help. Think he'd do well here, IMO.

Interesting tidbit with respect to Murray; don't mind the package if what's purported by Irwin is accurate or close. Think Murray is an upgrade particularly if he can play the defense he was @ San Antonio.

That said, Russell is coming off of two very good games in a row, and I'm wondering if Murray or Russell aren't moved if we can revisit this during the summer?

Thanks @JSM for keeping us updated.

dlo with another strong game and murray hit the game winner for atlanta last night. add in that they want reaves, and it's probably finito. i agree that lots of these things will come back up in the summer, though. especially anything with klutch guys.

Give this one a read. I'm going to strip it for parts below...

Apparently he was courtside for the exact reasons we thought he was courtside during our playoff games.

Lakers wondered if they had enough speed and thought that was something that could be addressed later (makes sense with the guards we're linked to)

    Dennis wanted a bigger role

The one guard (AR) starting lineups aren't working and forcing Bron to do too much without yielding results

i knew we didn't just choose gabe over dennis.

kyrie's only played in 26 games so far. at this point, i'd probably rather have him than dlo/rui, but that was never really a possibility for multiple reasons.

and yes, playing lebron at pg continues to not be a winning idea. we got away with it some 4 years ago, but that was 4 years ago.

I'd be good with a smaller move that brought in Jones or Sexton. Not sure what we would be giving up though. I honestly don't know that I would swap DLO for either. I think we can make a better trade using him despite the current rumors.

“Since Dec. 12 and the Lakers' in-season tournament victory to claim the first NBA Cup, James has brought the ball up the floor 30.6 possessions per game -- 50% more than he did in L.A.'s first 23 games. His touches per game: up nearly 20%. His passes per game: up 23%. His minutes per game: up more than 8%, up to 36 per game.

But the Lakers are losing James' minutes by a wide margin over this span, outscored by 118 points when James is on the floor. It is his worst plus-minus over a 15-game stretch since joining the Lakers.

"It's just too much on Bron right now," one rival player whose team recently defeated the Lakers told ESPN. "Everyone is just going to pack the paint and try to frustrate him because they need a lot. Speed. Playmaking. Shooting."

I thought our genius coach really had the answer when he benched both our players “who facilitate as PGs” while Gabe was out.
