I'm completely in favor of snagging Hibbert in a salary dump like Lin last year. Don't even care if we take back a pick. Nance Jr. for Hibbert. Do it Mitch. Ideally, we do Sacre,Young and a future 2nd rounder for Hibbert. Not sure how down on Hibbert Indy is. It may be pipe to think that. But if that was possible, that might leave us enough to go after Harris as well? Hibbert/Randle/Harris/Kobe/Russell with Clarkson, Black, Brown and Upshaw as our bench? If Hibbert could get his crap together, that's a playoff team.

Out of all the available bigs via cash dump trade, Hibbert is the one I like the least. He got his pair snipped by the Hawks (of all teams) in the playoffs two years ago and has been utterly useless since. He went from all star to bum in a flash. That said, if he's all we can get then I'll still take him.

Definitely don't see him going to the Clipps in a trade. Cuban just crippled them, he has zero motivation to help them out.

Harris is gone. Hibbert would essentially end up being like signing a one year max contract because his trade kicker would push his salary near 18 million.

We'd have about 4 million left but who is even left?

Very similar to Pau to me in terms of lack of support. He had a bad series for sure and a bad season after that. But even David West said the franchise has treated him wrong.

A change of scenery I think would do well for him. But either way he's a good fit next to Randle. A legit 7 footer who defends the rim. He can hit a little jumper to space the floor. I think we can get him to around 15/7/2 or so. Not worth the cash, but what else would we do?

I'd love to get Koufos because I think in 30 minutes he's a 9/9 guy with over a block, but where does the rest of our cash go?

I also would advocate for Jennings. I think Jennings/Koufos is a decent off-season. Maybe throw cash at McDaniels and see what happens.

Koufas seems like the best bet right now at C. I think we should nail him down. Figure out the SF and backup SG after that. There's almost no big guys left.

Who do we have to give them is the question. Where's my shaking, scared guy when I need him.

In our current position, I like Hibbert. Only one year left on his deal, can be had for peanuts, and has shown All Star-level talent.

His problems are by most accounts all mental. That's potentially solvable versus someone who just is plain old not good enough.

Hibbert will not be a bad choice. Can he stand up to the bright lights and pressure of being a Laker? Larry Legend is helping us?

Curious on the asking price for Hibbert, Expiring deal, plus some value, means it could be to big an asking price IMO
