Welcome to our new two-way player. I actually like this.

He had a great stint in November when the Blazers had a lot of injuries and had to play him heavy minutes.

Against Sacramento: 18 points and 11 assists

Against us: 15 points and 12 assists

Against Utah: 6 points and 10 assists

Against Cleveland: 13 points and 4 assists

Against us: 15 points and 8 assists

Against OKC: 11 points and 7 assists

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not expecting TOO much from him. But a player like this gives us more important depth than Fudge/Hodge IMO. Especially with Vincent out, it’s nice to have another true PG on the team. If hypothetically Reaves or DLo had to miss some time, I’d feel more comfortable letting Mays soak up some PG minutes than JHS at this point

Desperately needed another ball handler/facilitator, and JHS ain’t it. Looks like DLo lite in the videos I’ve seen of him. Can he defend?

Whatever keeps JHS on South Bay until next season I fully support.

hard to be encouraged by signing a castoff and hoping it will change our fortunes, but I suppose in the eyes of ownership and management, this is a cheap stop gap before the trade deadline

the good news is that from these pictures and highlights, he appears to be a grizzled 43-year old vet.

Definitely. Wall has ego and expectations based on who he was. Whereas a capable career 3rd string PG still fighting for a role in this league is hungry and knows their place.

i'm actually moderately excited to see him in action. people who want brogdon should like this kind of poor man's brogdon.

Kid can hoop, I'd like to see more. This might end up being a mini steal for Rob.

Best part of the game last night. He looked good. Granted it was in garbage time, but we haven't even had a pg who can show out during garbage time, it's nice to get some competency at the position for deep bench units.

Don’t worry, Ham will insert him in the starting lineup soon.

Great pick up. I liked him in Portland

Great under the radar move. Doesn't solve all our problems, but it does tackle the lack of a 3rd PG. JHS needs time

Nope: it's going to be Lebron at C with TP, AR, Dlo, and Mays. 5 out baby with a bunch of skill, got to set the pace
