Someone like Kosta's got to choose money over winning right? Especially if he's coming from Memphis to CA (cost of living)

Wow I just saw that Bismack signed with the raptors.

Ok, I'm convinced our FO is in a hold-up in El Segundo. At this point it's the only explanation.

It's not just that, he's only 25 or 26 years old. If we offer him a starting gig AND more money, why wouldn't he want to be here?

Isaiah Thomas has one of the best contracts in the league.

For the record, I'd love Koufos to join us. But a) he wouldn't take AT MOST 8-10 million which leaves us 13-15 million to spend and b) if he's literally our only addition then uh... we're REALLY bad. :D

    Russell/???
    Clarkson/Brown
    Bryant/Young/Brown
    Randle/Kelly/Nance
    Koufos/Black/Sacre/Upshaw

Anyone else seeing an issue there? :D

A name maybe we could look for in a salary dump/trade situation is Brandon Jennings. He's coming off an Achilles tear and I know he's got great affection for the Pistons. Van Gundy likes Reggie Jackson as their future guard.

    Russell/Jennings
    Clarkson/Brown
    Bryant/Young

That's a pretty solid rotation right there if Jennings can come back healthy.

That's a name I threw out as a KD alternative for next year.

If you can get him out of Detroit, that'd be a sneaky nice grab. I don't know how he'll look after an Achilles, but Wes Matthews just got 15 million. He'd fit the criteria for preserving cap space too. You could even get creative with getting Hibbert by trading Young to Indy, AND Jennings. Or of course go Jennings, McDaniels, and Koufos.

    Russell/Jennings
    Clarkson/Brown
    Bryant/McDaniels/Brown
    Randle/Kelly/Nance
    Koufos/Black/Sacre

    Not terrible.

Glad to see achilles tears are not a problem any more. Wes with his contract and now we'd like Jennings to go with Kobe. How's X doing by the way? Maybe he's looking great and is what is being worked with in Mitch's mega trade? Him and Whitey ..... errrr....Kelly, Swaggy and Sacre for Boogie?

You like Jennings? He's the epitome of fool's gold IMO. He's like Swaggy P with more skill but needs the ball all the time.

I'd honestly let Russell run wild and screw up....I don't see Jennings and Kobe making it work although Jennings can shoot the 3. Jennings isn't as efficient as Lin but he puts up a higher volume of shots.

His game will have to change but the bottom line is he's talented. Talent wins in the NBA.

I certainly like him more than the alternative: nothing.

We are in no position to turn our noses up at players.

Mohammed would make sense if we are looking for a 5. Jefferson? Maybe... I don't think Laker brass has the balls to make a move on Evans. Emeka Okafor... Javale McGee...
