That f***ing Vando flop call of all things cost the Lakers. He didn't flail or fall down and get called for a flop wtf? I don't know that looked like a 3 by Bron. AR with a regular game and Lakers win this easy but then again KAT and McDaniels sucked. Lakers need a PG to be a contender. DLo and nothing behind him is a huge weakness that keeps biting the Lakers AD has been playing like an MVP
Eh, there is a picture going around on social media acting like he was clearly behind the line (this is what the screen was paused on when Lebron started pointing at the monitors after they made the decision). But the still frame is misleading. As he rises up to shoot, the front of his foot arches forward. It’s definitely over the boundary of the line, IMO it probably touched the line. If anything maybe his toes stayed like a few centimeters above the line, but there is no definitive evidence so it’s way too close to overturn the ruling on the court. Watching it live I immediately was frustrated because I thought he was on the line. Sucks to waste such a great game from AD
6-6 in December with both AD and Lebron hitting their midrange and 3pts shots ? Something has to change SOON
Agreed .. AD missed 2FTs , Vando blew another layup which resulted in a 5pts swing AND the Wolves got a very weak technical down the stretch . Ham has to go and SOON
Not gonna happen. He's got the Golden Ticket this year and I'd venture to guess at least until this time next year at the absolute earliest.
this team is going nowhere. even with lebron and AD playing well, there are far too many flaws for a title to be realistic
Bigger than Magic’s “knife in the back” media roadshow following abruptly quitting in the tunnel in 2019 during the most important Lakers off season in 20 years?
Lakers couldn't score so Ham decided to add two non scorers in the starting lineup . The team net rating in the first quarter is worse than the Pistons one !!!!!
yeah, the major injury issues early on to the role players along with some occasional lazy play, team-wide, has pretty much squandered the chance to bank some wins. not sure what the answer is, tbh. we're once again a very dangerous play-in team that the top seeds will be trying to avoid. yay?
Darvin Ham hire is another long line of pathetic hires the Lakers have made in hiring coaches. They just can't get this particular part done right. That last play call was just mind boggling. He is horrible at drawing plays out of anything. It's the main reason why he doesn't call timeouts when the Lakers are on a s***ty run. NBA officiating is trash. Review process is so f***ing bad that you destroy the flow of the game to get the play wrong anyway. You have to do a replay to see if a call is flagrant? How the hell is a play flagrant if you have to review it? Shouldn't it be obvious right when it happens? These replays and BS have ruined these games so bad in basketball and in football. Clueless on so many levels.
This .missed Fts, Vando miss were brutal. They got gifted the McDaniels tech but damn the Vando and Rui techs were crazy. Call that even and the problem comes down to they need Reaves to be him and he wasn't last night. Last year Schroeder would get you some wins but there is no one like Schroeder on this team. I sound like a broken record but if you look at the PG position the Lakers have awful production there and you compare it to the rest of the league it is there biggest issue
pioneer, you're way too hard on vando and way too bullish on schroder, imo. he's not the savior. i'd love to have him back, but it's not the thing that solves all the problems.
i thought depth doesn't matter and that we'll be fine as long as lebron and AD are playing at an elite level?
Was only talking about the “act” itself and literal meaning of the word. Which picking nits you have misused. Magic’s was deliberate.
