You can’t be getting 6 and 5 points from 2 of your starters and expect to win consistently. Also can’t be getting 8 from your backup PG in DLo. This isn’t 2000 where it didn’t really matter what you got from AC Green or Fox or whoever because Shaq and Kobe were that good. Something has to change.

i tuned in for long enough to watch lebron fall asleep and let peyton pritchard backdoor him for a layup. turned the game off immediately. you know when lebron wants a game.

Losing on Christmas is the Laker tradition that just won’t end.

I mean you just can't play Cam and Vando together and expect to win consistently against the other teams starters.

It takes away the best offensive option this team has which is to attack the paint.
    Frankly it's bizarre coaching.

I always like to look at these 2-3 years from now, but I get it.

If you're in "win-now" mode, you always want the player that can give you effective minutes right away.

We also missed on signing free agents lol

Since 2018 room/mid level exceptions: Michael Beasley (lol), Avery Bradley (didn’t play in the bubble), Montrezl Harrell (absolutely useless in playoffs), Kendrick Nunn (ramping up from bone bruise still), Lonnie (won us one playoff game but was mostly out of the rotation, Gave Vincent (see Nunn above)

Yeah. I like to give picks time.

JHS is a project. If our other guys were playing better and more consistently we would be fine waiting him out. As it stands, it would be nice having a young guy who could contribute.

That said, I don’t trust the production of any Miami player at this point outside of Bam and Jimmy.

Spo gets the most out of his guys.

agree that it's way too early to be upset about the jhs pick. i whined yesterday because i wanted podziemski, and he's playing, but that was kind of a half-hearted whine, as it's not like having him (or any of the people pictured above) would change anything about how the season's gone.

this is related to my gripe: a franchise as attractive as ours should have a coach of spoelstra quality. there's no salary cap on coaches, and we haven't had a top tier one since phil. how's that possible?

Oh you’re preaching to the choir with that one. Lol. I completely agree.

We should have the best of the best at all levels of the organization IMO.

The Laker guard rotation is Dlo, Gabe, Reaves, and Max. Now players who get guard minutes include Cam, Vando, and Prince but those guys are wings.

So you have one All star caliber player then a bunch of trash production and guys playing out of position. This is the biggest problem for this team right now and needs to be fixed.

Put in other words only Reaves would be seeing time on deep teams like the C Bags and TWolves among the Lakers guards and that is not good. The loss of Schroeder who was maybe the best backup PG in the league has hurt real bad along with Vincents' injuries - made a manageable rotation into a real minus

if we had beaten kyrie-less dallas at home, robinson-less knicks at home, and beat SA (like literally everyone else does all the time), we'd be 20-12 and in 4th in the west.

amazing what that let down after the IST has done to my outlook.
