Shoutout to the Indiana Pacers, who, so far this NBA season are putting up all-time offensive records. They managed to score 109 against our D in LOSING the first NBA In-Season Tournament. Still: 109. Ain't gonna get it done.

    Didn't get it done.

You have the offense, Pacers. But DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS, emeffuhs!

When Zen was not actively participating in GT, I always confuse him with Kenzo, I don’t know why, their names are so dissimilar  it’s probably the Israel and Poland confusion

“Not actively participating” …. that was kind. :D

Then again Zen is a kinder, more gentle participant these days.

It was a W but hard to find anything funny when we almost lost to a team that stinks.

    You got one, be happy.

    And it almost happened.

You’ve lost 17 in a row. What difference does it make who’s out for the other team?

Lakers getting creative with ways to throw away a lead.

He’s him. Too bad that half court heave didn’t count.

Pop would need index cards to remember who is on his team.

Pop really did seem out of it at times. Retire already.

It’s been 2 minutes….have a little faith. The attention span of a gnat.

Is this supposed to make sense?

    He’s MJ against the Lakers.

You would need two planet fitness members standing on each other shoulders to make up Wemby.

Tell Pop to kick Kawhi in the balls and then the fans can boo him.

You are making energy for the company with a slow burn.

He thought a fan dropped some candy on the court.

    911, what’s your emergency?

If you have hair growing on your bottom, it’s better you are alone anyhow.

The unibrow is stronger than the beanpole.

    No.

Introduce him to Westbrook. He will easily up his brick game.

Stop tanking and you wouldn’t have to worry about that.

That’s some great time management for you.

And the Lakers when they give up and expect the other team to also.

I thought so too but luckily it didn’t happen.

At least he’s landing some 3’s for us.

That’s what losing 18 in a row will do to you.

Who wins the suck trophy award?

When you lose 18 in a row, they all blend together.

I don’t know, are you in Cleveland?

i'm sure vassell will light it up on friday to make me look stupid, but i still don't see the fuss about him. if he got 5/145, then reaves should have been considered at 4/100 for them. he's been a better overall player this year, even with the early slump.

this was puzzling. i know it's us, the lakers, who can't hit open shots to save our souls, but...they were leaving guys one pass away, just wide open. i was like..."pop's letting this happen?!"

exactly. i think he was going to but got too excited about the prospect of being an early influence on wemby's career.

again, can't stress enough that the sochan at pg thing seems like borderline trolling.

yeah, i'm sure other fanbases make fun of us for saying teams get up for us, but they definitely do NOT for wemby or SA. hell, teams don't even get up for giannis, imo.

i think it's part that--and that players were fans/haters growing up--and part that fans show up to see us. and not just to see us (like wemby), but they're heavily invested in seeing us lose. nobody's invested in seeing wemby lose. at this point in his career, he's a zoo attraction. if and when he starts stacking rings, he'll engender the kind of interest the lakers do.

Great win after some crappy losses.

    Better reach for the Prozac.

What do you think we are the Clippers….we are missing about 100 toilets.

What were you up to, 20 at the end?

I was genuinely in awe we were making 3’s.

    Yep, ours was great….yours wasn’t.

    He also owns a loss.

Yes cause that makes for good basketball.

He made a smoothie out of you.

    He made some 3’s too.

Let’s hope it’s the one of many.

We looked like the number 1, playing you.

Don’t worry, he didn’t break it…it’s 30 by the way. I looked it up.

    He had to remember sometime.

We are definitely not like that.

Your sponsor is a truck stop. What do you expect, fashion?

    Please don’t remind us.

Ain’t fake if the ball goes in the basket. This guy was calling the game fake shooting all night.

That’s because Vando’s like an ant on the ground to Chet.

You obviously don’t know Darvin Ham or you would be used to it.

It’s obvious you don’t watch basketball if you thought we were getting a lot of calls.

Now you know Laker fans feel.

I’ll take things you never hear for 500 please.

I was really loving the easy baskets off the double.

We will trade you Zu for him ….oops too late.

Laker fans travel. What can I say.

    You certainly did.

    It is crazy.

It’s bad enough to call him hillbilly, but don’t call him Harden.

He just wanted to join the party.

Because his name is awfully close to dork.

Do coaches get suspended for positive drug test? Quick, someone slip something in Ham’s water.

Hopefully the Boston game is a repeat of this game for us.

There was a guy blaming everything on rebounding. So this guy went off on him.

What’s in you water in OKC? You shouldn’t be having problems in your 20’s and 30’s.

Nice write up. Short and sweet.

yeah, i had the thunder feed, and early on, SGA gave a (standard) forearm shiver and knocked cam over, then dort did the same thing to somebody a couple plays later, and michael cage is all crowing about being tough and it's a man's game and whatever. so AD notices this and just plants chet's raggedy a** on the ground and drops it in, and cage complains for like a full two minutes about it being an offensive foul. have some self awareness, bro. maybe, if your team is a bunch of stringbeans, you shouldn't go picking physical battles?

that block was brutal. chet sure knew he was there as he ate a full serving of leather. if holmgren did that to one of our guys, it would have been on the top plays on espn.

this was another moment of poor awareness by okc's announcers. they kept acting like we were hitting impossible shots and they were missing open ones, when we were making open shots, and they were missing some. when you shoot a zillion threes, sometimes you miss them. have you considered maybe looking for a different shot after the 9th miss?

also no comments on the fact that just about every shot jalen williams hit was a bad shot that probably shouldn't have been taken. it was like watching a bloated jamal crawford on a heater. and they still got beat pretty badly. without him having that kind of night, we win by 30.

It’s good to have doom again. I was getting rusty. Too bad it was against the Hornets who have less than 10 fans,
so not much to work with tonight.

You’re not entertained watching your team lose? Or seeing Ball on the sideline wearing more diamonds than a South African mine?

We didn’t need it tonight, so Bron chilled on the bench.

    Nope. Better luck next time.

Hey just be glad you’re not Detroit.

If you stink at tanking, you could always try winning instead….like try to make baskets and play defense.

Do you consider losing by 21 brutal or just a par for the course for the Hornets?

    And no winning.

    And you would be mistaken.

Shot 5-14, he’d fit right in.

Ding, ding ding…right answer. Thank you for playing.

It helps when you shoot 66% from 3 in the first quarter.

Someone needs to let our team in on that secret.

    And then you fell off.

Your third quarter is our first quarter. Luckily we have most of the game to see if we can make it up.

He can be hot sometimes and s*** others. So that’s about right.

    No that’s a halftime show.

I take losing for double, please.

It was pretty bad there but I don’t know that raises to Hornet level peak. You’ve been embarrassed many of times.

    Hi I’m James, LeBron James.

I had to rescue Doom from the second page. Never a good thing.

Almost 38%, that’s smoking hot for us.

And you sir are deaf, dumb and blind. You upped Vegas by 2 skills.

Was Kawhi on a minutes restriction on 2k also?

Is they why Harden smells so bad? Did a dog take a dumb in that nasty beard and he can’t find it?

Sounds like the Ham’s game plan every night to me.

if they were cheating, why do we get screwed so often?

    You didn’t mention the 1st, 2nd and 3rd too.

    Oh let Russ be Russ.

Actually both of them have been playing well for a while but they thank you for the compliment.

Woods is going to hang that in his locker.

    This sounds familiar.

Playoff P always willing to help.

I need therapy from Russ played for us. The thought still makes me ill.

NOOOOOOOOO, ok just a bad dream.

Unless his role is to be a bench warmer, he’s a liability regardless.

That’s 20%, at least 10% higher on good things than he did here.

Dlo did hit those 2 in a row but 3-9 isn’t smoking.

Just make this sentence a short cut. You will be using it a lot.

Please don’t. I heard he’s good at cleaning toilets. I think the Clippers should give him a chance.

    Everybody.

Don’t think teams are lining up for their Russ chance.

    It’s over when I say it’s over.

Yes we cheated our way to 17 championships. While the Clippers have how many?

Russ the ball needs to go INSIDE the rim.

A 50 yer old that could beat you to a pulp.

    Because bums like Westbrook can’t.

He isn’t but he will be. Just a matter of time.

Did he really have a brain to begin with. He turned down the Lakers to stay with Westbrook lol.

Is Powell so skillful that he can do that or does Silver have telepathic powers to close the rim?

    I thought a Pomeranian still counted as a breed….woof.

They are Dunking…..and yes he did type donuts.

As long as he doesn’t have the Klutch gene, I think we are ok.

PG thinks isoing a DPOY candidate will take you to the promised land.

Russ is taking it seriously. He’s just a**.

Why does PG iso AD? Did he lose his mind?

Once again: tons of comic SMACK, Cookie. I literally laffed out loud on at least six of these.

Some Clippers fan: So many turnovers, no offensive cohesion. What is this game?

You: Sounds like the Ham’s game plan every night to me.
