I agree with you wholeheartedly.They are not bad players I just don’t believe they are championship players especially Dlo with the wild fluctuations in his production he can’t be trusted.

 

As a supporter of Kuz and KCP before they were traded, I don't think comparing DLo and Rui to them is fair just based on offensive consistency. They are all roleplayers so what I want from roleplayers next to star offensive players is to do the dirty work that doesn't involve just scoring and I would argue the gap on the non scoring stuff is big

What Kuz and KCP gave you that DLo and Rui didn't was consistent effort on defense. KCP was a great chaser and decent on ball defender and Kuzma got better at these. Plus the big thing with Kuzma in terms of defense is he became a much better rebounder.

Rui and DLo just get lost on defense. DLo far worse than Rui but Rui a huge problem with him is he sucks at rebounding despite his size and hops.

Woj being as vague as ever. Speed and athleticism at what position? He didn't specifically say, the poster asked about PG and 5..Woj gave a generic answer. Hell every team in the NBA would like to add speed and athleticism. Perhaps we should target Brunson and Quickley

 

Lol..It's the Lakers, we need 9-10 High end players on our roster at all times. Guys that would be in the rotation on just about every team. That way we might be able to scrap our way into the play in, in order to get bounced in the 1st or 2nd rd!!
