never been a huge fan of using raw point differentials as a measure of "actual value". houston and new orleans aren't better than us, and certainly not by the margin point differential suggests. we're not as good as i hoped we'd be, but not as bad as it seems coming off three really underwhelming performances.
Overall by year end, it’s actually been a pretty good indication of who the best teams are. But no stat is perfect.
i remember reading this a while back, but i also remember not liking the data that fed that particular analysis. i also think in the era of load management and high volume three point shooting, you have to be extra wary of point differential.
Knicks game was the only game that really concerned me so far. Even with Cam and AD, Lakers had trouble getting stops and when they did Knicks exploited the offensive glass again. Offense was ok but guys missed a bunch of wide open 3s Would have liked Wood instead of Rui this game as Ruis rebounding has again regressed. DLo got ripped by Knicks headhunting him. Prince man you have to hit wide open 3s at a better clip. Not having a clear cut 5th guy is a real problem and the difference between contention and just a playoff team. They need a POA defender at the guard spot who has some offensive juice (man Schroeder on this team and they maybe 4 games better: huge difference)
This is not a team serious about basketball unless there's $500k on the line. Yes, this was made before the midway point of the second quarter of the game. You can't go down by nearly 20 to the Bulls when you're at full strength. Win or lose tonight. That's just piss poor effort.
Embarrassing Honestly you have two guys in DLo and Ham who don't like they want to win. DLo has checked out since IST Ham deciding to play a WTF small ball lineups with a bunch of dudes who've barely played Then he goes back to DLo over Reddish when they had it back to single digits
Pimple head should be gone before C Bags game.I don't care hire Fish or James Worthy it can't be worse
Yeah I hate to say this but Ham needs to be saved from himself once again. Need to trade TP and Vincent and probably have to trade DLO too which sucks. Or..we need to fire Ham and bring in a real coach...problem is...is there one available? And no...do NOT want Doc Rivers.
Wow. This team really needs a shakeup. Wish we could dump Hamster, but he’s here for at least the rest of the season and probably next.
Said against the Knicks in the live chat Bulls are no walkover. Lol. Had a feeling this would happen. Btw, DLo has checked out. He needs to go.
