    I've got the following:
    Koufos +4.5 wins, +53 +/- impact
    Morris +4.4, -50
    Williams +3.2, +31 (KJ +1.3, -175)

Those three would add 12.1 wins to my lower projection number, and I think we'd be close to a .500 team, even somewhat conservatively.

That would be perfect. That's my optimism. Free agents will look at us more seriously with a 41 win squad and a team that's on the rise...

Hold on. Didn't see Tucker in there...

    Russell 4.9, +22
    Koufos 4.5, +64
    Morris 4.4, -50
    Clarkson 4.3, -72
    Tucker 3.5, +51
    Black 3.2, +124
    Williams 3.2, +31
    Randle 2.1, +16
    Young 2.0, -101
    Nance 1.9, -87
    Kobe 1.2, -131
    Upshaw 1.2, +124
    A. Brown 1.0, -68
    J. Brown .6, -94

That's 38-41 wins, conservatively. Notice Kobe's wretched score; that's sort of assuming he'll be injured and ineffective for the most part, as he has been the past two seasons. Kobe's clearly one of the biggest swing factors; he could be worth as much as 8-10 wins if he's healthy and effective.

Good deal. They'll be some light at the end of the tunnel heading into next free agency if we could pull that off...

Someone send this to the Clippers organization

Without DJ they're doomed. Should've traded one of the two bigs when they had the chance. Who's playing center? PP or Stephenson?

My Rondo reaction is two fold

    (As a Lakers fan)

(As someone who's not a fan of Rondo, hates the Kings, and loves watching their train wreck. )

Mavs should be very interesting this year. A lot will hinge on the health of Wes and Parsons this year. They'll find some vets to give them depth, especially with the best GM under 30 in the league with Parsons.

Surprises: Beverley stayed. With the PG market as bare as it is, thought he could've gotten a better gig elsewhere.
-Harris: knew we weren't getting him, but I thought ORL would at least wait for someone to make him an offer.

Brewer for $8m, he did LA and NY a favor by staying away with that one. Knicks got better value in Williams for $5m considering they already had AA. Phil is doing a very respectable job after missing out on the top guys. All the s*** he's heard, he actually showed up to FA with a plan.

The Lakers on the other hand...well, this is me after every announced signing

We're the league's dumping ground. Salary dumping that is.

I'm fine with any of the salary dumping scenarios. If we take back Hibbert I think a lot of you will be pleasantly surprised. If we take back Morris/Tucker I think that's a great haul actually. That's the kind of move we need: fill up with middling talent so we can bump up their value and boot 'em for something else.

You know what's been so fascinating too me. I have not heard a peep out of Lin's Camp, Boozer's Camp, or Hill's camp.

Kyler and Kennedy just said we didn't even reach out to Harris.

Seriously if Mitch doesn't have some master plan here that doesn't involve Jordan Hill, I'm done. His job is to either make a splash or grab some assets we can flip later. So far crickets. Mitch is too good NOT to have a plan but my faith in the FO is shaken right now.

I think the plan is staying young. I don't even think Aldridge made much sense if we have Randle. I think we have a good young core, and we stay on the path. Picking up desirable and trade able assets is also wise, but so few of the FA are actually a fit with our youth movement.

Update on Lin: He has spoken to 8-9 teams who are interested in him. Not that anybody would care; he didn't exactly light it up here last season...

In the right system, he's a solid NBA backup.

No, I don't know what system that is.

Sure you do; it involves a lot of pick in roll. The situation in Dallas would be perfect for him. Carlisle would utilize him correctly. Scott, well, we should all know the answer to that...

Lin will be an excellent fit in Dallas if he goes there.

I think he's a good player, a borderline starter, and he's clearly good in some systems.

Lin would do well in Golden State's system but they're loaded at the PG spot already (Steph, Livingston, Barbosa).
