To me, the big headline tonight isn’t even the IST championship (though that felt pretty nice). It’s that the Lakers as currently constructed look UNBEATABLE. With Reddish and Vandy back, paired with a healthy AD, our defense is smothering and relentless. Reaves and LeBron can do whatever they want out there. We need to be making blood sacrifices to the injury gods every frickin’ night for the rest of the season because they are the only thing that stand in our way.

I agree - we look like a completely different team defensively with all of our guys back.

The "wait until team gets healthy" crowd is winning BIG time right now and I didn't think that was possible.

Vando and Reddish on the perimeter + AD down low...plus Vando has injected that offensive reboudning / extra possession blood into our team. It's contagious when you see guys play D the way they do...

Not only is it the strength of those 3. It's the allowed slotting for everyone else. It's the (football) safety position it allows Bron to play. It's a game changer

I love defense, offense is fun, but defense is almost even more of a team effort thing and can be poetry in motion, so this team is becoming a joy to watch. We’re also a huge team aside from a bruising center. Our PG is 6’4, our SG is 6’8, SF and PF 6’7 and 6’9. It’s bothering teams, it reminds me of how we did it somewhat in 2020, and a bit of the 2000 team when we started Harper, Kobe, Rice, Green, Shaq, in the sense that we had size at every position. I don’t know how far we go this season, but I like the makeup of the team at least in how we fixed our lack of wing size. And then off the bench currently we have Reaves, Max, Rui, Vando, Hayes or Wood, we are a long team. We made TWO threes tonight and we scored 123 points, that is wild. I still feel like we may need to trade for a little more scoring as we aren’t getting enough from the starters not named LeBron and AD, but I don’t think we need much tweaking to become a very scary team.

Always love to see Lakers win trophies. Also nice to see Bruce Brown be a non-factor.

I genuinely believe that this team can make no trades and seriously contend for the championship. Reddish bring POA defense and energy to that starting group is massive for our guard rotation. I have not given up on Vincent at all, I think he'll end up being the solid playoff insurance policy for DLO that we signed him to be.

I just love the optionality with this roster right now. With how fast Indiana likes to play, this was a Reddish/Prince game and not really a Rui/Wood game. But there will be matchups in the West where we need to have their size out on the court while also maintaining the spacing. The key to the season is how good the halfcourt offense can become, and its already noticeably better than it was a month ago.

Big picture, its just awesome to have a good, deep, likeable team to watch every night again. 2021-2022 and last season before the trades were such a bummer night-to-night.

6’8”(Vando) and 6’7”(Cam) guarding guards and forwards, with AD as the anchor. Pretty amazing how this came together.

A win is still a win in the win column, so basically, it's winning.
