I had the thought the In season tournament trophy would be way better if it was in the form of a belt, like in WWE/MMA/Boxing. Winner of the in season tournament gets to wear their belts out for the team intros of every game for the rest of the season lol. Basically make it this so there’s like storylines on who’s defending the belt next season, etc: On a side note, there really should be something of strategic value that a team should get for taking the tournament serious and winning. I always thought having 31 draft picks in the first round and the in season winner gets #31 would be enough to motivate the players + the $500k each player gets in a briefcase right after they win the in season. The trophy ceremony should be belt plus a briefcase full of prize money and it’ll be awesome.
Still a lot of work to be done with the team but we’re finding ways to win. We didnt shoot well and still won.
they should be able to get past the pels, barring someone like mccollum or dyson daniels turning into curry
Loved this trap. Maybe if he didn't run home and cry about being doubled, maybe he'd be ready for this situation.
Yes!!! I’ve changed my mind regarding this in season tournament. If they want to make more gimmicks to get the players playing like it’s the playoffs, I’m all for it! Good: The Swarming D! AD, LeBron and AR all having great offensive games on the same night Not having to see Wood on the court The Very Bad: Our Uber stagnant offense on several attempts at the end of the fourth
booker might be the biggest b**** in the league. and that's quite the accomplishment considering how soft the NBA is these days
Who do we stick on the Hulk for that abuse? Rui’s the strongest wing outside of LeBron but Ham will start Prince again. Well for all the hate he gets maybe fans will enjoy that LOL.
That was the best first quarter we've had in a while. The energy went to 100 when the robber baron entered the game.
He and Durant are The Softest duo today and should get heavy consideration for SOATD(Softest of All Time Duo).
Yea, the D was everything. If we could shoot from outside we'd be the best team on the planet. I liked how Cam roughhoused Booker, who is a fantastic offensive player but a bit of a wuss. And Book got back at Cam late by raking his face on a missed shot and getting away with it. Did Cam complain? No. He knew it was a dirty play but also knew he just owned Booker in this game. I don't GAF what Booker says about this, but he doesn't want to face Cam again. Ever. Booker 6 for 16 with 7 TOs. Now if someone - on any team - would just pay Grayson Allen back for the dirty POS he's always been. KD's outside shots, with guys all over him: insane. Lebron? Roget has run out of superlatives for him. AR is the Closer! What also went Right: Tom Washington let us have that timeout. About time a call went our way late. What went wrong: We jumped out to a big lead, then predictably lost it. At one point in the 3rd: 0-11. D-Lo was off for the 2nd straight game. Telling: Wood with a DNP. Very late, in crunch: AD can't hit both FTs. And how did KD miss that shot at the buzzer by so much? I thought our camera angles were lame there (TNT). At the moment, I thought Taurean must have fouled him. And you know KD hits all 3 FTs to force OT. I'm a lifelong Phoenix hater. I admit it. And it's sweet to see us send them home. So sweet.
While you're in Phoenix, before you jump to the next better situation, please teach this whiney little baby a thing or two about the game...
What went right is that with Cam and Vando coming back, the Defense is fantastic, probably the best in the NBA. AustHIM Mamba Mentality What went wrong: Prince playing so many minutes he can afford to throw the ball away in a simple inbounds pass while the Suns are making their run
Not sure that was his fault? He practically hit LeBron in the head with it but he wasn’t looking. Guess Bron thought he was going to inbound to someone else? And Prince figured the Man would want it?
hate controversial endings If it was us, we'd be crying foul no doubt Durant had the right response though. Don't leave it up to the refs to eff up and make it a 1 possession game in the first place.
