    I disagree with our roster being that bad. We are essentially adding a healthy Kobe (as he was evidently hurt the entire year), Randle, Russell, possibly Upshaw. We subtract Davis, Hill, Lin and Boozer. We also have to assume Clarkson and Black will improve a little on their rookie years...this roster is better than last year's and certainly has boatloads more potential.

    Maybe your optimism was so high for so long that when the floor dropped out, it was just an abyss of a drop. I was crotchety all season so simply getting the #2 pick and adding Randle back into the mix made me feel like I was on a morphine drip. :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I'm going to go out on a limb here and believe that the lakers is the secret team that offered Tobias Harris a contract because they have to be doing something. Right?

    If we don't start getting some solid players to join up with our young players, we are looking at the same situation next year as this year. Except no high draft pick and swap out the name Aldridge for Durant.

    Wrong. He just resigned with Orlando, easy peasy. I'm sure Mitch knew that was going to happen and didn't want to spin his wheels ..... what with all the other FAs we are hot on the trail of attempting to sign last 2 days. Only so many hours in the day. Mitch prioritizing his waiting on answers schedule.

    I admire our FO for trying to give Kobe one more shot at a 6th title. In hindsight, we should've kept Pau and Kobe together, and built young pieces around them, similar to what the Spurs have done with Duncan and Manu. We have talented young guys that are about 3 years away from contending for titles. I just hate Kobe won't be around to be part of it.
