I dig Shark Tank but wifey’s not interested. :speechless: Hope he’s not sick. Also was thankful in the early days of high definition for HDNet when there were only a couple programs on the network.

I think our Championship window is 2 seasons. With the right moves, I think we can win two more rings, with Lebron and AD. We don't have to make any blockbuster trade, it could be done in 2 or 3 smaller ones.

It's just idle speculation at this point, but I wouldn't consider anybody, besides Lebron and AD off limits.

Chosing Tucker over Caruso, was a massive mistake. Not paying the luxury tax was a money decision.

I said that Austin as a rookie, was going to be the better overall player, and that it wouldn't take long either. I like Reaves too, but it depends on what I would recieve,
for some of these other guys. Caruso and a 1st rd pick is a fair exchange IMO.

Shrug ...As far as the 3 star or not angle...IDK..It depends on what we do. If it's a another Superstar, I'm fine with it. If it's a couple of different players, I'm fine with that too.

I'd take Brogdon over D'Angelo, but it would have to be coupled with another move.

Right... KD, Dame, and Beal were on long term deals. Lavine is on one too, I guess he won't get traded either then. Anything is possible in the NBA. A guy wants out, it looks like, he usually gets what he wants to me.

This could become a bigger distraction than his on the court value. If this continues, maybe send him home until the investigation reveals whether he's going to jail or not.

Currently not the best look for OKC.

Gotta go through Suns and then likely the Kings and C Bags to get to the money.

Playing around with the trade machine; the under the radar trade partner for the Lakers is Portland.

Grant/Brogdon for Rui/Prince/Dlo/JHS get you close to matching and it's the type of consolidation, 2 way player you get back which would help in the playoffs
Grant has been playing well and he has recent experience of being a 3rd wheel on a good team during a deep playoff run with Denver in the Bubble. I'm about done with Dlo and Brodgon's an upgrade regardless if he's healthy

Portalnd gets rid of Grant's contract, young assets and moveable deals plus draft capital

Dump him elsewhere and then we'll take AC off your hands when the dust settles.

    A lot in here...

    Lakers first...
The entire article is worth the scroll, but here's some of the more interesting ones or interesting headlines

    Atlanta
10th place with Snyder as the coach, they're underachieving. Siakam could give them a boost.

How about the corpse of Vincent, Prince, Hayes, and a couple seconds for Capela?

-Boston: expected to be players in the buyout market.

-Brooklyn: Spencer Dinwiddie, Royce O’Neale, Dorian Finney-Smith

    Charlotte: Gordon Hayward
    Chicago
The fact that Zach might only go for one first is a testament to just how low his value has dropped (still a no from me). Yikes and yuck! A late first for DD sounds good. Two for AC is a lot, unless they're protected to the point at least one conveys to 2nd rounders...that's pricey.

-Dallas: THJ, Richaun Holmes and Maxi Kleber

    Detroit
Indiana: Buddy Hield and TJ McConnell
    Memphis
We're linked to Konchar. How exciting.

-Minny: KAT if they flame out in the 1st round again, NYK mentioned as a destination to watch.

Portland: Malcolm Brogdon and Jerami Grant

    San Antonio

Toronto: Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, Gary Trent Jr, Otto Porter, Thaddeus Young

kleber's had trouble staying healthy, but he could be a great fit here, in theory. no real path to a trade, though, as i value all of our assets more highly.

grant obviously interests me, but not i'm not that keen on brogdon (dlo's as good, generally healthier, and cheaper).

i think rui/prince/hayes might be enough salary to get grant.

Now Grant is a rather intriguing idea, short term and for the future. Post Lebron..Grant, AD, and Vanderbilt is a damn good frontcourt foundation IMO. For the next two seasons, with Lebron, he'd make us, Championship favorite caliber too.

It's kind of good that the consensus on Jerami's value, is all over the place to me as well. Portland might settle for players and 1 unprotected pick.

So look though....Grant, and Brogdon equals 50M in salary. D'Angelo, Rui, Gabe, Prince and JHS, equal 50M as Pioneer10 pointed out.

We keep Austin, Jarred, Cam, Max, Wood and Hayes. 5 guys going out for 2 coming back. This would be a homerun trade IF.. Vanderbilt and Reddish are able to play together, and at least be respectable from 3. Brogdon's injury concerns is the biggest downside IMO.

On another note...I'd give up Rui,D'Angelo, Prince, and 2 1st rd picks, for Grant and Sharpe. Portland could move Brogdon somewhere else for another pick.
