What crappy lineup was he in tonight? All but one had a positive net rating. 4 minutes: L. James - C. Wood - T. Prince - J. Hayes - A. Reaves with a +50 net rating 3 minutes: A. Davis - C. Wood - T. Prince - R. Hachimura - A. Reaves with a +16.7 net rating 3 minutes: C. Wood - T. Prince - R. Hachimura - J. Hayes - A. Reaves with a 0 net rating 3 minutes: L. James - C. Wood - T. Prince - R. Hachimura - A. Reaves with a +160 net rating 2 minutes: A. Davis - C. Wood - R. Hachimura - C. Reddish - A. Reaves with a -100 net rating 2 minutes: L. James - A. Davis - R. Hachimura - C. Reddish - A. Reaves with a +125 net rating He was on one stinker for 2 minutes. The others worked.
We played literally the worst offense in the NBA. These lineups are horrible, regardless of the result: L. James - C. Wood - T. Prince - J. Hayes - A. Reaves C. Wood - T. Prince - R. Hachimura - J. Hayes - A. Reaves And this I am not a fun of: A. Davis - C. Wood - R. Hachimura - C. Reddish - A. Reaves They all lack a proper offensive threat or a person to p-n-r with (or both). AD is horrible doing screens. Bron does it better than him. AR needs a partner. Nobody should expect him to go 1-n-1 agains all lineups. He needs a roller. Someone to cut. A proper corner 3. Just like Bron. Of course Bron is a better offensive player, so he gets by. --- And, BTW, the +/- undercuts your point of AR being bad, isn't it? Pick a side.
Shrug..Are Reaves stats more important than winning the game? He'll have an opportunity to bounce back against Houston.
Ham is hurting this team a great deal by slowing Rui and Austin developements and playing lesser players more or equal minutes . Imagine when Gabe and Vando come back ...
We need Vando in the starting lineup, imho. We need him on the defensive side and I don't think he's could be a great add for our 2nd unit, where the struggle is in fast points. I don't love too much the fact we're winning lots of close games thanks to a LeBron in MVP version, I've hoped to see a more impactful role by Russell and Davis. While the feeling is without LeBron we could lose against any kind of NBA team.
Ham needs to bench Prince or at least stop him from shooting lol, just the same time for Reaves and Prince
Lol..when Vanderbilt gets back and goes 2-9 from the field, folks are going to be screaming that he's hurting the team! Watch.... As the Laker Nation turns...
His defense is much better than Prince. I’d sacrifice some 30% three point shooting for great D any day.
I was worried about spacing as well, but that's before seeing Bron the sniper and Corner Cam out there. As long as that continues, those two and DLO give you sufficient 3 point shooting. You'll have to endure nights like last night where DLO (most of the team, really) goes invisible but the good nights will outweigh the bad.
Don't think you can play Cam and Vando together. Prince can't hit a 3 and he's not good on defense Rui is slow footed on off ball screen heavy teams. Teams needs a consolidation trade - with all the talk of Lavine, Jeremi Grant makes a ton of sense for the Lakers. (Doesn't fix the guard POA defense issues: sigh so much easier if the team still had Dennis)
I hate to say it but Cam is what a lot of people hoped Vando would be: great POA defender who at least appears competent on defense.
It's f***ing wrong.it should be Lebron. De'Aaron Fox ( Sacramento ) was named the best Western conference player in the fourth week of the 2023-24 regular season
A won game but LeBron lazily chucked a three with time left in the shot clock against Kyrie. Now he is being absolutely roasted for being the least clutch star in the comments and deservingly so
