He's only really had 2 bad games, vs Houston and Sacramento. Outside of those, he's averaging 16, 5 & 5 w 2 3's/g shooting 51% FG and 47% 3FG. STUD.
No kidding how random (though certainly great). How do they come up with that ****? I still remember some comment from @Weezy a couple years ago about “random” NBA stats.
Way too many TO's and each one seemed to lead to an easy transition bucket for the Kings. He needs to play with a PG not being forced into being one.
Austin is a shooting guard that can facilitate some, he's not a PG. Meh...Definitely not " the second coming of Steve Nash." Still..he'll shake it off in the next game.
Austin has already shown what he can do when used correctly. Some of the over emotional types are bailing on him again already...lol. They will be back soon and then gone at the first bad game. Be rough to have such little backbone.
No that’s why we need to trade for Caruso. Give the Bulls a 1st round pick, I have no faith in Rob to make good choices in the draft anyway after this year’s fiasco.
He's a Manu light which is awesome. Pop played him with a PG. Please do the same with AR Ham Teams are just getting in his grill every chance they can get so he has no chance to get downhill
They weren't good at guarding other backcourts last season either, including the playoffs. They have to score at a decent clip to offset that. They did just that, until D'Angelo no showed against Denver. Vincent in theory gives us Schroder type of POA defense, with a better 3pt shot..we'll have to see if that's really the case.
I do agree that we should give Gabe a chance here. He does a lot of things right: he's a better defender and plays very smart basketball in general -- nothing fancy, but he causes very few turnovers, which is something that would help us immensely right now. His 3pt% will go up, it's just a matter of time. Our back-court D of Dlo and AR is just not cutting it right now. We're getting carved up by every speedy guard out there. It's fine when the two of them are scoring a lot, but they can't do it consistently.
7/4/2, 1 of 4 FGs, 3 TOs Really not liking PG Austin right now with defenses press up on him. He can't get any separation.
Yes. His fault. Trade his a**. Not Pimple's fault for: 1. playing him 17 minutes in two 8 minute stints, almost none with the proper lineup 2. not having a set rotation 3. not having any plays 4. not even have him having the ball most of the time, instead passing to Cam and Wood and god knows who else 5. so... he gets some ball and then presses, naturally This is not how you treat one of your 4 most important players. You do things to get them rolling. Not throw them into the water hoping they swim. It boggles the mind how flavours of the month, be it Cam, Gabe, Prince or Wood, are being featured over AR. EDIT: I mean... the only players who played less minutes than him are Hayes and both Maxes. Prince played 35 minutes. And was 10/5/2 on 40%/20% FGs
Not having Dennis is really impacting Reaves. He's got to bring the ball up more. Dennis Rim pressure game tied in well with Reaves pull up game. He's got take on tougher defensive assignments. I always favor continuity when you have good play and losing Schroeder for the same money as Gabe is handicapping a team which looks like it's not that far from being a tru contender
