Definitely. Got a little worried on that charge attempt in the 4th (against KD?), looked like he hit his head on the court and was grimacing a little immediately after. Shook it off and seemed to be OK.
Anyone else when Rui comes in think it looks like a waste of talent to see him put down in the corner, when Bron is out?
He's really good in these two games since the concussion. Defensive energy has been up, as evident with the steals. Thought he came through for us in the fourth getting a couple big baskets. The clean up layup and then the dive to the rim when AD got doubled.
We had 3 Akitas over a period of 30 some years. Those heads are sooooo "petable". Great dogs. Great tails. The incredibly beautiful ones at the dog shows ALWAYS seem to lose to the little s*** dogs for best of show though, if they're in the final running, for whatever reasons.
Beautiful dogs..I like the American version with a black face. They aren’t big barkers, but they have that stony gaze, and then bam!! They get into action quickly. That's Rui! Lol
Thought he held up really well when he was on Grant. If he can be *that* for us... well, maybe minus the disgruntled behavior (Grant only wanted to be traded to a team he can be showcased and not be a 4th option)
On FIRE tonight. At one point near the end of the fourth they said he'd only missed one shot. 23 points in 24 minutes of play. Shot 80% from the floor, 100% from three. That's on another level.
*Played 24 min. Almost a point a minute, I'll take it. He's been fantastic since his return. That's more of what I had in mind for him this season, obviously the shooting will dip some.
good answers. the one highlighted in the tweet (that open shots are harder psychologically as a laker) is something we all talk about but i haven't heard the players say it directly (they usually say it doesn't matter). it would explain the shooter's curse we have, and rui saying that you eventually get used to it would explain the fact that guys do seem to improve in that area the longer they're here.
Man he does love taking tough mid range jump shots when the Lakers have wide open 3s open. I think he looked off both Lebron and AR who had nobody on them. He made the jumpers though lol
