Didn't Schroder play FIBA too? To be honest, he looks a little out of shape (Conditioning wise) and rusty to me. It's not a huge deal IMO. He went from an unknown, that just hooped, and went back to his man cave, to a minor celebrity, that just got his bag, sadlled with some high expectations , in a few months. It's a lot to deal with mentally for a young guy,.let alone, now every team on the schedule, is game planning a way to attack you. He's in a little bit of a funk..he'll bounce back soon.
Great close. I love the ball in his hands down the stretch when he's going well. Great decision maker and and great ft shooter
Flashes of HIM. Confidence spiked in the 3rd. Carried that throughout the rest of the game. Looked good close to the basket. 3 is still broken, but if he can get the and-1s going again, that's just at good.
AR is officially back. I love when the crowd gets into it when he goes on these mini runs all alone. Way to go, keep it up!! Underrated ball handler in congestion too. Seemingly a handful of times he’s in between folks, doing spins, and seemingly should be stripped, he’s still in control.
Yeah moreso than some of the shots starting to fall, the biggest sign that he’s closer to the AR we’ve come to expect was Lebron deferring to him to run the offense in OT!
Good to see Austin fighting through it. Maybe he can exhale a little bit..I don't think it's just fatigue from playing FIBA.
That crossover reminded AR how good he is. Loved the AD and Lebron post game hype, "Go win the game AR"
I agree. Trevor at Laker Nation was saying one possibility was they held him out of so many things during preseason to let him recover he wasn't is as good of shape as normal. Not sure, but good to see signs of life.
