Harden does shrink but not as much as people believe. He still stays effective. I mean, it's not like Dlo shrinking .

Harden is a loser. He will never win a championship. Just look at his career for god sake.

 

Harden is just useless without the ball in his hands, we already had a flavor of that with Russ, and I don't want any more of that.

 

It's true that he doesn't move without the ball. He just spots up.

It's different from Russ however. Harden shot 41.5% on catch and shoot threes last year and 40% the year before. Teams wouldn't be able to leave him unguarded.

 

I hate to say it but if Harden has become persona non grata around the league and the Lakers only have to give up dudes like Rui and Dlo to get Harden, you make that move every day including Sunday. The dude put up two 40 points in the semifinals last year and stopped playing Iso ball enough to lead the league in assists.

With AD and Lebron, you don't need him to live up to his MVP potential and you don't have to worry about him becoming a wallflower in the clutch. The lakers have Lebron still for that its look like for another year at least.

After all these years, people really think Lebron of all people shrinks in the playoffs? Jesus, his numbers in the NBA finals are absolutely mind-boggling. I'd argue that is the highlight of his career, not the career scoring title, etc.

 

He has the 4th highest winning pct of all active players. He's ahead of Lebron. I'm not sure what look at his career is supposed to mean?

We got smoked by Denver and barley beat the depleted PHX .I don’t think anybody is scared of us .

 

I mean, we'd have a lot of evidence on our team by the time a theoretical trade could be completed. I'm not fully endorsing Harden because it comes with it's own risks. He is 34 years old and is an impending FA that is gonna want a big deal. It is something to monitor if the offense continues to be trash in the half-court.

Harden is a better passer and a creater than anyone on the Lakers , AD is underutilized and with D Angelo they can rotate well and have many threats on offense . But I mean if you hate Hardens character that’s a different story .

Yeah he scored 40pts in 2 games and then less than 17 in the other 5(!!!) games of that series. Is that what you want?
In the 5th game of the series he tried 8 shots. Last 2 games he went 7-25 and 1-11 for 3 in more than 80(!!!) minutes of 2 must-win games.

Harden is a ball hogger who doesn't play defense. HE IS NOT THE ANSWER

 

Dude we have the biggest ball hogger in the league with the King , at least Harden makes his shots rather than clanking it at the buzzer.
