Also feel like we miss Vando. I'm not down on Prince, but I felt like a defensive energy guy like Vando would've helped last night.
It seems to me everyone is still in training camp mode. Don't know exactly what's wrong, but: Ham hasn't figured the rotation(s) yet. Bron plays exactly like I expected him to, which is good, but his minutes aren't. AD continues playing Peek A Boo; one game cold, one game hot... IDK, there's probably nothing to do about this in the long run. Reaves & Rui seem off for some reason. We all expected more. Vando is missed big time. Dlo is constantly questioning himself on virtually every play. Gabe needs to start shooting the ball better. His D got better over time and he showed that he can pass the ball well, I'll give him that. But the % is horrible. Wood is actually showing he can be very useful. Eventually. You know, when he plays himself in shape.

It looks like the team is disinterested right now. Also still feel like I did in the game thread - feels like the team thinks its better than it is right now. Just seeing more effort overall would go a long way to making me feel better. I knew opening night would be tough but remain disappointed we didn't really take it to the Suns last night.
i've said it several times, but if last night's effort appears in the kings game, we'll get blown out. they can score, and our defense has been bad.
I don’t get it from the staff or players. I get that the season literally just started but These games count. The West will be tight. Tie breakers will likely come into play. Only a handful of wins are going to separate the teams. We can’t afford to just mail in games.
nor can we afford to play lebron and AD 40 minutes each to beat durant and 4 little sisters of the poor at home.
We won, but it doesn’t feel like it. We see things for what they are, and it’s hard to be excited about it.
It's funny how much people mock the bubble title when I think that team would be favorites this year and beaten every team that has once since in the finals in 6 games or less. look at the weaknesses of this team and look at the bubble team POA defense at the PG spot: Rondo and Caruso Brawler/Physical Big: Howard 3 and D guys: KCP, Green, Kuzma (they rebounded well too) Throw in a younger Lebron - it's becoming the most underrated team of this century
Recipe for success? Any combo of Lebron Rui Reaves Vando (when ready), AD, TP, Dlo, Max, Wood. Forget everyone else for a little bit, let’s win some games early on and stop trying to experiment so much all the time.
Dlo, Gabe and AR shot 7/28 overall and 2/15 from 3. Just really hard to overcome that in the modern nba.
Ham is my WMC. Terrible rotations tonight. Way too much Gabe Vincent once again. He shouldn't take this as "it's early" every single game counts the west is no joke this year and this was a division game against someone that we'll be probably jockeying for playoff positioning against. Tough game to lose.
Our 3 guard rotation of DLo, AR and Vincent have been awful defensively. Desperately need Vando back and Christie to get some minutes.
How is this team under .500 ??? Ham may put his own job in jeopardy if he doesn’t get results. I know the front office doesn’t knee jerk react, but this has to feel unacceptable
