so... we start counting in the middle of a repeat title performance and then discount another one to make the math work. good job, george. enjoy the lone title your* nuggets ever have.

*what's his attachment here? they fired him after he most certainly did not bring home a ring.

Karl's twitter disdain for the Lakers is really odd. The pinnacle of this is his feud with LakersGuru on twitter. Just really beneath a former high end NBA head coach.

We gave his son much more of an opportunity than he deserved, he should be in our debt.

He's definitely got the John Malkovich crazy eyes going

and by his takes, he reminds me of one of those distant aunts/uncles you don't see in the real world anymore but you see posting crazy s*** on Facebook and you're like, you were normal once. What the f*** happened?

What’s he on? That’s all BS anyway. Julius Irving played against Showtime and he came with the merger. According to winning Time he was there for Magic’s rookie season?

Damn what an a**! Look how great we treated Coby both as a player with opportunities and then with the farm team with the coaching assignments.

who gives a s*** what senile old man george karl says? i'm pretty sure even nuggets fans hate him. guy is clearly still pissed off at how the lakers crushed his title hopes all those years, not just with denver but with seattle too. can't forget the 48 win lakers upsetting the 57-25 sonics in the first round in 95

i mean, they should have started it in the summer, right? they need to move lavine, vucevic, and derozan while they're healthy, imo. caruso, too. no idea what they're doing over there.

that will definitely send a stern warning to people not to negotiate early. SEE HOW LIFE IS WITHOUT THE 54TH PICK IN THE DRAFT!!

i didn't catch the end, but it looked like he was trying not to do too much. iirc, his first or second shot was a bad pull up three in transition that he missed by like 8 inches, so maybe that made him a little gun shy. but he hit some threes after that, so i don't know. one thing that surprised me was how easily guys got him moving in the wrong direction to create contact. he's going to have to adjust to the speed of the nba game. looking fast against tiny assistant coaches is one thing, but keeping pace with kyrie irving is another.

Rooting for the kid. And it would be cool to have him excel in a small market and keep the SA Spurs relevant.

It's weird right. I always just assumed he was playing around and having some fun with LakersGuru and some of the other laker accounts but it seems like they are really digging in.

The matches of the first game day of the 2023/24 NBA season were watched by 2.78 million viewers. This is the lowest in 9 years.
Tuesday’s NBA Opening Night doubleheader on TNT averaged 2.78 million viewers, marking the least-watched Opening Night slate in nine years (2014: 2.36M) and second-least watched in 15 (2008: 2.58M). Viewership declined 16% from last year (3.30M).

    In particular, Lakers-Nuggets averaged 2.84 million viewers and Suns-Warriors 2.71 million, down 5 and 24 percent respectively from last year’s games (Sixers-C Bags: 2.98M; Lakers-Warriors: 3.55M).
