Oh sure “coward” …. you need to hop an international flight, find that little “fat boy” and say that to his face. ;)

This team USA is simply too small to compete in international basketball. They are getting outmuscled out there. The problem is… where are those good centers (or true power forwards) you could put on the team? The best bigs in the NBA are usually international players.

We have to get better bigs in there. BI's spot should've gone to a big.

Ant did some chucking, but he is also the only starter who could get his own bucket and he was the only starter who kept us in it.

If not for politics, I would've gone with:
    Banchero
    Bridges
    Ant
    AR
    Haliburton

Still too small and not good enough defensively but not as limited.

Ant and Haliburton are the only two who need legit rotation roles on the real team.

Bridges/Hart/AR if they end of the bench team glue guys.

We have to get Tatum, Butler, AD, Embiid (if he does indeed transfer over), Bam, Holiday (his D was paramount last time around).

If Curry is still healthy, we could use his shooting.

I am not surprised at all.
Regular season in NBA is already Harlem Globetrotters show.
There is no defense in 99 % of games(we play show time here, stars cannot be touched, they live off free throws. Therefore, all the skills of a team, tactical game, most NBA players saw last time in the NCAA and not all of them even graduated from college.
And even today they could play Kessler instead of JJJ.and I absolutely hate Kerr's small ball
It's not going to work at FIBA rules never ever

Guys like Brandon Ingram not being happy with his role was the spark that ignited the eventual losses to Lithuania and Germany today. Players who arent happy with their roles yet when they are given the chance to prove their worth and fail is always a precursor to disaster.

Stephen A. Smith, Kevin Durant slam 'ignorant' Noah Lyles in brutal reply to USA sprint king after he mocked the NBA

Today he reacts to the USA failing to reach the FIBA World Cup final again:

"That's glaring. It gives credence to Noah Lyles ... International competition is different and the USA gets exposed."
BTW ,there were 19 World Basketball Championships, the United States won only 5 times, even at home they could not win.

Team USA desperately needs AD to come back or at least Bam.
Also I hate to say but the lack of C and PF US prospects out there - team USA better hope if AD is not willing to come back that either Zion or Holmgren really start shining

It would be pretty hilarious if they're is pressure for Lebron even to come back to play PF

AD and Bam are the clear front-runners.
Then I have Robinson, he would be good for this type of opponents. Allen too and obviously Dray.
Then Mobley, Claxton (is he eligible?) or Turner are next. But they're more lean, not sure about the fit
I think Williams or Looney would be good fits

For me for the 4/5 positions this is my list:
    AD
    Bam
    Dray
    J.Allen
    M. Robinson
    Looney
    Turner
    R. Williams
    Mobley
    A.Gordon
    Claxton
    JJJ
    Banchero
    Grant
    Kessler
    Tobias
    Randle

The problem is, the NBA has discounted the value of big men in the NBA competitive scheme. They have designed a game that doesn't suit those skills. But international rules, don't play that game. I have thought for years that we should keep the NBA rules very close to international rules just so we will always be competitive. Our best players no longer fit the international game very well. If we refuse to consider this in the league FO, the international teams are going to rule us and then develop their own really good pro league that will surpass the NBA. Very possible.

Since we lost, my sole focus is now on us destroying Brooks on Sunday.

I want AR to cross him and put him on a poster. And I want Ant to put 40 on his head.

I like the international rules. For me it is just a better brand of basketball but even for those who don't you are right about our need to stay competitive.
