AR to LeBron this year after pounding the ball and doing a clanking step back 3, “Watch the shots that you’re taking motherf*cker… Drive that b*tch!”
LeBron James is 22-33 in the NBA Finals in his career. (.400) -86 +/- 48.4 FG% 35.2 3P FG% 73.1 FT% 217 TOV (3.94 per game) 4-6 record in the Finals it's ok to share the whole picture besides cherry picking stats to make him look great. Anyone who acts like he's the undisputed GOAT may not be being all that objective. And he's my favorite player.
What is Jerry West's record? https://www.sportsnostalgiahq.com/jerry-west-finals-record/ I really believe that being in the finals 10 times and winning 4 is excellent. It is hard to get to the finals. Isn't Magic only 5 out of 9 and win loss was 24-27??? Kareem was 6 out of 10 and actually had a winning win loss record at 29-27. Hardly dominant. Jordan was 24-11 but ONLY made it to the finals 6 times. Everyone always says, he won it every time. Well, not really, he played like 14.3 years and didn't even get to the finals 9 times, 8 if you don't count the short year. Magic only played 12.4 years, got to the finals 9 of those. I think being number 2 a bunch of times, when you have also won it all 5 times ranks up there with Jordan, and frankly, might even be more impressive. If he could have extended his career, who knows what he could have accomplished?
you're not helping my Lebron narrative at all sir But now we know why Jerry is so bitter. Magic win % was insane. An absolute winner. Some of the other stuff I'd look up, but it might affect my opinion on Lebron, so I won't and pretend you're spreading FUD.
Completely agree. It's beyond silly to knock someone for losing in the finals as if it's not an enormous accomplishment just to get that far. Jimmy Butler is 0-2 in the finals. Does that mean he stinks? Even making the conference finals is the mark of an excellent season. I was over the moon we made it that far last spring, especially given where we started. To knock a player like LeBron, for making the finals 10 times in his first 17 seasons, but ONLY winning four championships, borders on the absurd.
Djokovic wore a T-shirt in honor of Kobe Bryant after winning the US Open Novak Djokovic dedicated his victory at the US Open to basketball player Kobe Bryant, who died in a plane crash in 2020. The shirt says "Mamba Forever" on the front. And on the back is the number 24 - one of Bryant’s numbers and the number of Grand Slams won by the Serbian.
Didn't Novak say something about him being the GOAT? Oh what, real GOATs don't do that? They don't lobby the press to make sure everyone feels they are supposed to feel the same thing? OIC
