Wow …. for just 2 games anyway he’s significantly in front of everyone with only Pablo somewhat closer. But what is the rating and how is it arrived upon?

Browsed the site to look for details on their ranking system and here's what I found...
    And then an extensive breakdown

sounds kinda PER-ish, which isn't high praise.

that said, through 2 games it definitely matches my eye test in that reaves/brunson/haliburton/banchero/edwards have looked the best to me on the floor.

It's so good we get to sign the contract before the WC.
In soccer, players frequently use the WC to bump their reputation and get better contracts, we are really lucky that in NBA that doesn't happen. Austin is a steal at that money.

I really can't determine what's his ceiling right now

Aug 30 4:30am ET …. Team USA and Austin Reaves vs Jordan continue giving us an incredibly enjoyable Lakers fix in the middle of summer where there typically would be none.

Notably, Kerr pulled BI from the starting 5

They said BI handled the rock more and initiated with the 2nd unit. I would imagine that would impact Reaves game a bit.

And guys want Ingram back lol

On Reaves, team won by 50 so probably he didn't pushed it so hard, wasn't needed

I see Kerr working. Would have hurt some feelings and wrecked chemistry maybe to replace BI with AR. But when low scoring Hart starts hurting that starting unit ..... it won't be as big a thing to "try ... and see what it looks like" replacing Hart with Reaves.

    Suck it Pelicans

I think the only reason it was Hart and not AR or Hali, is that he likes keeping that pair together as the leaders of that second unit.

Josh is a glue guy. Probably a good call. Hopefully this doesn’t impact the effectiveness of the 2nd unit too much.

    BI really struggling.
It will be interesting is Kerr will start shortening his rotation: best lineup is probably going to be Halliburtin Reaves, 2 roleplayers and Edward.
