And I don’t want to hear we have no 3 point deadeyes as usual any more. He shot like 60 % in the freaking playoffs and now has to be close to 70% for Team USA through 6 games. None of the it’s not high volume crap either. Give him the number of shots we pine away for a Beasley type shooter and plan for it and see what happens! He creates probably 50% of his 3s as it is.

Have been reading more and more comments about how the bench unit has consistently been outplaying the starters throughout all the games since they started.
The starters fall behind early then the bench will rout the opposing team when they come in. Sad really
Yeah …. exactly. Then the starters come back and offense stalls again. Was searching for box score again and came across Sam Quinn’s running comments saying what we mentioned here.
I mean I like Brunson but it almost feels like if we started Halliburton and Reaves over him and BI we’d be better. Though there’s something to be said for having that great bench and closing options and not hurting anyone’s feelers.
Politics is tough on that one because Kerr named Brunson a captain and went on about how much of the leadership role he had with this team. BI should move to the bench though, he's not meant for international play. The team contribution outside of iso buckets and the role player duties that everyone has to perform are lacking from him.
Lakers brass deserves a parade for AR. The odds of losing the Bald Eagle and replacing his spot in the rotation with another special white dude is borderline astronomical.
