I predicted by the end of these games Austin will either be starting or finishing these games for team USA. Kerr will play the players with the hot hand, but Austin is earning that finisher spot as predicted.

Just guessing AR “could” cup the ball like Kobe and others for one handed dunking, but chooses to use 2 so that he has less of a chance at missing them …. not giving a crap about style points. At his size with having decent hops the cupping wouldn’t be a problem. Am almost expecting him one game playing for Lakers just as an exclamation to jack up his team …. to break a one hander out.
Austin not only makes us a legit contender but one of the favorites. Glad he is finally getting some recognition but many are still underselling him. Glad he is locked up.

Next season, his usage, volume, and assists will all go up. I see him topping out at 23 ppg and 8 assists. Probably 7/14 fgs, 3/7 3 pt fgs, 6/7 Fts. Though, I would not be surprised if he gets even more assists. I have the conservative number because he will be in starting unit with Bron and Dlo. He is kind of a Harden type pf player tbh.
