Germany is want to win this game , Dennis outplayed Brunson, and Halliburton with just 1 point.USA is losing 8 points at half time. Let's see what Kerr will do
All team USA does is iso scoring, very little team ball from what I see, just a bunch of your turn my turn all-star game type playing. Down 14 with 5 mins left in the 3rd.
Germany is tired. They played less than 12 hours ago. And Reaves with a steal and final dunk of the game.
Good game, glad I found it from the online feed. Looked all over my TV after Fox 5 yanked it. Was lucky enough to catch most of the final quarter.
Edwards is special. He can enter the top echelon of SG's ever if he can stay healthy. Hops, shooting, strength: got the complete package. Not sure about his passing/playmaking yet - that will be the difference for him going forward. Halliburton can end up being the best PG in the league as well: ugly a** shot but it goes in and he's a terrific passer. Reaves meanwhile will always end up in the finishing lineup because he can shoot, dribble, play defense, and is smart. Funny people were making fun of the selection and Laker fans were just wait and see when he starts eating up minutes. Bingo now he is a core piece of this squad
Franz is good man: Orlando can be scary if they play their cards right. Both him and Paulo are freakin big dudes, who can dribble, and shoot. Great combo to build around
this has always been my question with him. he seemed super low hoop iq coming out, and i don't know if i've seen the growth there. but i was also worried about his drive, and he's definitely improved his individual skills over time, so i was wrong there. he's more talented than say, dwyane wade was. and i'll think he's likely to have a better career, individually, barring injuries. his ugly shot falls a lot, though. and when you're a giant pg, that's enough! i think he's a superstar-level guy. he's got the quality, whatever you want to call it. he doesn't have some of the physical abilities of edwards, but both he and halliburton just really know how to play, and they compete hard at all times. pair that with good nba positional size, and you're doing great.
HIs 3 is much better than Wade's. Wade was a better mid-range jumpshooter but Ant is catching up to him on that. Wade completely different level as a playmaker though: Wade ran PG for long stretches and don't see that with Edwards so far. Trying to find a comp for Ant and maybe its VC? Ant has grown supposedly so he's only an inch shorter then VC: I like the comparisons, it's hard to find guys who were both explosive and big for their position and also were natural/good jumpshooters.
